jcr (811), Jasper, Indiana, USA Jul 7, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. This is one of the better balanced APAs I have had — neither the hops nor the malts dominated, yet both were present and not subtle. Amber/orange and cloudy with a white head. The aroma is citrusy with grapefruit and orange peel. Hints of pine, grain and caramel. The flavor was moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Yet neither was forward and the finish was mildly bitter. Very clean. Medium body with a watery texture. Lively carbonation. Very nice and very easy to drink. Rogueone (311), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA May 19, 2008 Draft@ Ashley’s: I thought this was a very solid pale ale. Poured a hazy orange-cedar with steady lacing. Bit of citrus, grapefruit rind with a mild bitterness and impressively clean finish. I would seek this one out again. heemer77 (3611), Savannah, Missouri, USA May 6, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. General_Gao (2368), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Apr 1, 2008 Growler. Poured a clear medium orange color. The head was white and reduce to a thin film after a minute or two. Some nice lace was left behind. The aroma was of biscuity malt and grass. Delicately sweet on the tongue. I tasted biscuity malt and grapefruit. There was some mild hop bitterness at the end. This would be a good gateway beer. ogglethorp (752), Ohio, USA Mar 24, 2008 On tap. Poured a hazy amber color with a small off white head. Aroma is caramel, light fruits, and floral hops.
