Thanks again to GodofThunder. A very sweet fruity smell. A very respectable burn on the initial taste. Light hoppiness. Not bad.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 WakeandBake (549) - Greenville, Michigan, USA - APR 18, 2009
A dark golden color pour with a medium sized off white head, good retention, and lacing. Aroma is of sweet lightly toasted caramel malt and a pleasent spicy earthy floral hop profile. Flavor is lightly sweet, hoppy, and lightly bitter but not too bitter, very BALANCED just the right amounts of Malt and hops, livly carbonation, medium body, yet light and crisp,a faint hint of lemon zest at the dry finish. Extremely sessionable. Maybe one of the best APA i’ve had, nice job Shorts

Courtesy GoT. 12oz bottle. Gold with a slight head. Mild nose of restrained bitter hops and some toasted malt. Prickly in the mouth, a little cardboard and grainy malt, bitter finish. Seemed a little drab and muffled.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Hudspart (537) - Hudsonville, Michigan, USA - APR 17, 2009
Pours golden with a slight head. Sight aroma of hops. Very drinkable, but not hoppy enough.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Beerlando (3342) - Orlando, Florida, USA - APR 17, 2009
Courtesy GoT. Pours a clear golden color with a small, foamy, off-white head. Scant traces of lace mark the glass. The nose is simple but well pulled together, notes of lightly sweetened, fresh cereal grain accompanied by peppery, spicy, citrus blossom hops. Flavors show more of the same, again fresh and grainy, with hints of toasted bread and bitter citrus hops. Oranges and peppery flowers come to mind. Medium to light bodied, well balanced, and incredibly drinkable. Great little session beer. I could knock quite a few of these back and be happy.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 GodOfThunder (1235) - Orlando, Florida, USA - APR 16, 2009
Pours a golden copper. Aroma of grain and bitter hops. Flavors are bitter hops. Tastes more like a pilsener than an American pale ale.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Boutip (3971) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - APR 13, 2009
Bottle: Poured a deep cloudy copper color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of dry caramel malt with some floral and lightly bitter hops. Taste is a nice in between some floral hops with a slightly bitter and citrus ending and a great malt backbone. Full body with very low filtration and some medium carbonation. Well done and easily drinkable and very much appreciated the low level of filtration.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 mattmc1973 (477) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - APR 11, 2009
12 oz bottle, poured into a tulip glass. Deep orange, somewhat cloudy, with almost no head. Smells of lightly sweet malt, bitter hops, some grain and grass, and a bit of flowers. Tastes bitter, with a bit of tart fruit. Mouthfeel is a bit watery, but in a good way, it’s quenching and not heavy. Not great, but not bad, I could drink a couple of these.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 jimbowood (1036) - Freeport, Georgia, USA - APR 5, 2009
Bottle. I think this brew was past it’s prime. Poured it out. Reminiscent of cardboard. Don’t consider my rating cause all other Shorts brews I’ve has were awesome.
