[A] Quite interesting. Smells slightly Belgian. With a fruity/sugary aroma. Nose is mainly grain, earthy/grass, pale and amber malts, honey. I like it. [A] Pours orange. [F] Flavor is biscuity pale malt, grain, honey, and a less than substantial hop bitter. Finishes grainy. Not a huge beer. Decent. [P] Kind of watery. Drinkable. Easy going brew. I could probably do quite a few. [O] I drank this alot warmer than I probably should have. Its a solid beer. Interesting APA. I would do it again.

I think I let this sit too long. Smells skunked and tastes the same. Cloudy orange pour from 12 oz bottle at home. Musty basement taste. I hope I rate this again fresh

A pretty decent pale ale. Orangish yellow appearance, grapefruit tinge to the flavor but with a decent caramel balance.

Tap: Opaque, golden-amber with a decent sized, soapy white head. Aroma is very floral & earthy hops, bitterness apparent to the nostrils. Hop oil, orange & pineapple rind, grapefruit pith, just a hint of toasty malt. Bitterness & floral hops on the palate front & center. Citrus peel, orange rind, & bitter grapefruit come alive & lead into a toasted bread malt profile, just a mild hint of sweetness in the finish. Quite floral & bitter for just a pale ale, but a decent brew overall.

Tasted on tap at Shortís. It poured a clear, light amber hue with an off white head and streaky lacing. A malty aroma with a sneaky bitter taste.

From bottle. Pours an orange yellow with a small white head. Aroma is citrus with caramel. Taste is the same, only a little more intense, nicely sweet with definite hoppiness. Medium mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Quite nice.

I have to say that Iím not a huge fan of Shortís label artwork. Donít get me wrong... itís great artwork, but doesnít do a good job of luring you into drinking the beer. For Pandemonium, once you pour the beer out of the bottle and see it in the glass it looks alot more tempting. Soft, golden orange in color with light carbonation and a thin, foamy white head, the beer has an almost fruity, sweet aroma. Itís very soft in the nose, and light, with some slightly soured grain and possible yeast notes present. This is a summer beer. The flavor is incredibly fruity, almost like a fermented sour apple candy It has a very soft mouthfeel, and although the flavor is sweet and fruity thereís a yeast sourness in the finish that really grabs the center and back of the tongue by its balls and bleeds it like a rag. The inside of my mouth is sweating like my cheeks do when I eat something highly sour. If you can adjust to the sourness it would be a great sessionable summer beer. Thereís some bitterness in the finish, if you can get around the grainy, fermented sourness, but it doesnít come right out and bite you.

Bitter and stale. This beer may have been old, and appears so. Very little hop presence.

Bottle. Pours hazy gold orange with big, coarse off-white head. Settles in minutes with some stringy lacing. Aroma is toffee, nutty, biscuit, sweet malt, mild hops, slight bitter. Tastes mildly hoppy bitter, slight resinous, with a nutty, toffee malt finish. Mildly bitter aftertaste. Decent balance of hop and malt, fairly mild overall. Soft carbonation, medium-light body, and smooth texture.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a small foamy head that quickly fades. Aroma is sugary sweet with pine, flowers, and light caramel. Taste is a little more sweet than bitter. Pine, flowers, and a slightly odd fruitiness. An ok pale ale.

Got this bottle in a trade, Thanks Devin. Poured from a 12 bottle. Aroma is slight pine and sweet caramel malt. Flavors are strong malt and slight bitter pine. Nice easy light drinking pale. Not normally my style, itís a more malt forward pale. All in all a nice drinkable pale.
