Courtesy of hopdog. Pours a cloudy orange/amber color body with a small, lively white head. Aroma is fresh peaches, vanilla, and pie crust, with some very light alcohol. Flavors are sweet and slightly sour peaches, some, carmel, vanilla, and a little yeast. Def’n the big surprise of the night.

From a 750mL Bottle. Mostly hazy, bready amber color with a two finger head of fizzy ivory. Tons of fresh peach flesh and skins up front in the aroma. Hints of woody pits and a light minerally character. Light alcohol warmth and a hint of candied vanilla sweetness. Medium bodied, softly carbonated mouthfeel with a rich, somewhat chewy texture. Flavors of peaches with a light funk - mild acidity with some herbal hop bitterness. Finishes gently spicy with a pleasant sweetness lingering in the finish. The fruit flavor integrates very well into the beer, with the restrained lactose sweetness and tartness complimenting each other nicely.

Shorts smagning med klibben. Uklar mørk ravfarvet med lille råhvidt skum. Ferskner og jordbær med fløde. Puha!

Shorts tasting with The Club +a few. Pours a hazy amber with a nice off-white head. Some bitterness. Smells of apples. Sweet with LOTS of strawberry aromas. Also perfumey aromas. High carbonation. Too sweet.

Bottle from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. Complex and comprehensive ale which was a real pleasure to drink. Hazy, dark orange body supported by a thin, creamy head. Fruity smell containing watermelon and peaches with alcohol beneath. Sappy, bitter fruits in flavour leading to a lingering, hop bitter ending still with a warming touch alcohol. Soft palate, but full bodied and very well balanced (shared with Skinnyviking, 10.09.2008)
