Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a big foamy white head. Yeasty aroma, bready and sharp, with grass, malt, a hint of lemon. Taste of yeasty bread, with malt, hay, and a hint of flowers. Lingering earthy yeast flavors that ends with some watery bitterness. Decent pils.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Tap: Light, golden-straw color with a mild chill haze; quickly settling, soapy & bubbly white head. Minimal lacing. Aroma is... nothing. Smells like nothing. Very, very muted notes of mild corn, hulled grains, faint chalk, & stale, musty hops arise after allow this to warm up, but even then... weak. Taste is more vibrant but still quite boring. Moderate grain & pilsner malt. Hint of spicy Noble hop bitterness, metallic notes, must, astringency, & cereal grains. Clean lager yeast finish. A pilsner does NOT mean it has to be a boring beer. But this is a boring beer. Not bad, but not much going on, either. Good for power hours & century clubs, but maybe that’s about it.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Dégustée (bouteille) le 8 juin 2012 au Mondial de la Bière 2012 à Montréal (D2C2KPPO). Bière blonde limpide. Aucun col. Assez effervescente, bulles fines. Légère odeur de gingembre. Très très douce, assez sucrée, peu amère. Légère saveur d’épices. Plutôt mince et unidimensionnelle, manque de caractère. Bonne mais un peu fade.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle into a nonic pint. Real clear golden hay pour with a thin white head. Aroma is surprisingly big and roasty with a bit of grass, citrus, cereal, and yes, a tad bit of skunk and a bit of butter...but it works. Taste is crisp, clean, again surprisingly roasty malt character. Nice bitter, grassy bite. Crisp finish. Easy drinking.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle into a pint. The pour is a pale, cloudy straw yellow with a white head that leaves some really good lace. The aroma is lemony, with some maltiness to it, and a bit of skunk on the back end. The flavor is very similar. It's a little skunky up front with a decent citrus zing and moves into a dry light hoppiness. The mouth feel is really thin, really slick. Decent carbonation, but the aftertaste is just dry and skunky

12 oz bottle from Tipsy’s into a pint glass. Yellow golden and clear with an average white head, light lacing. Bland aroma of pale malts, clean noble hops, floral notes, light peppery spice and herbs. Similar flavor, not much else going on really. Average body with a crisp finish.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a pale yellow with no head at all, aroma is of hay and dirt with a little bit of skunk too, the flavor has a really dry hay like front end with some cracker and bread in the finish, really light, still kind of an off finish though, metallic like, not a fan.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sample at the Willoughby PBCCP tasting on 11/17/2013: The beer is a hazy pale yellow color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of herbal hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops and toasted malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hop aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.
