COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prolonged Enjoyment has a huge earthy hop fragrance of green grass, pine, and citrus fruit. The sweet, malty flavors are met quickly by zesty American hop characteristics. This India Pale Ale has a light body but is packed with extraordinary bitterness. Bitter qualities linger briefly, before the mildly dry finish takes over.

Shared 12 oz. bottle poured to snifters, showing a hazed, orangey gold color, with a modest layer of off white head foam, and dots & dashes of lacing. The nose was grassy, mandarin orange, artificial peach, and a touch of citrus. Light bodied, with decent carbonation, the taste was similar notes as the aroma, plus citrusy, and lightly resinous bitterness that lingered into the finish. Sessionably refreshing.

355 bottle from Det gode Brygg, Sandnes. Slightly unclear golden body with a nice off-white head. Aroma has lots of citric fruit with some malt ion the background. Flavor is medium sweet pale malt, quite citric fruity with some tropical fruit and decent bitterness. Light balanced body and fruity bitter aftertaste. Nothing really complex, but what a damn fine thirst quencher. A true session IPA. But how do they manage to preserve all this fruity aroma all the way from Michigan to Norway?
