Prolonged Enjoyment has a huge earthy hop fragrance of green grass, pine, and citrus fruit. The sweet, malty flavors are met quickly by zesty American hop characteristics. This India Pale Ale has a light body but is packed with extraordinary bitterness. Bitter qualities linger briefly, before the mildly dry finish takes over.

Bottle. Pours a fizzy yellow-gold. Citrus aroma most prominent. Tastes of citrus fruits and light malt. Light bodied, and a bit of a "stale" mouthfeel. Slightly bitter finish.

355 bottle from Det gode Brygg, Sandnes. Slightly unclear golden body with a nice off-white head. Aroma has lots of citric fruit with some malt ion the background. Flavor is medium sweet pale malt, quite citric fruity with some tropical fruit and decent bitterness. Light balanced body and fruity bitter aftertaste. Nothing really complex, but what a damn fine thirst quencher. A true session IPA. But how do they manage to preserve all this fruity aroma all the way from Michigan to Norway?

Purchased at the Hoppy Imports (Greece), consumed in Kosovo. Bottle. Pours cloudy orange color with a very tick off-white cap. Nose: citrusy hops forward, tangerine, herbal. Mouth: a bit too thin and watery (ok it is a Session IPA), kind of a hops infusion and a shy malty background. I suspect the long traveling from the U.S. has flattered the beer which reportedly is a good one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a completely transparent gold with eggshell head that steadily dissipates into sticky lacing. Smells of grassy hops and a bit of citrus with a bittersweet malt backbone. Tastes like it smells, but thinner all the way around. Mouthfeel is medium light-bodied. Underwhelming.
