MBGSF 12 Draft. Poured a hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate earthy hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Sammy (7035) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 20, 2012
A good amount of taste and drinkability for a lower abv beer, kudos for that craftsmanship. Not the usual hop flavour, citrus and the like. Yet the IBU is clearly there if not a bold taste. Drying finish. Lighter yellow with a quarter-inch of retained head.FlandersNed recent.

@ GABF. Bright dark gold, lasting head. Bright pine and fir hop aroma. A lack of malt sugars hurts the beer somewhat in the palate, making it seem brassy and unbalanced, but it’s overall a good effort on a pale and well-hopped session beer.

Bottle courtesy of Jakers90. Served in a tulip.
Pours a clear golden color with a pretty nice white head and some spotty lacing on the way down. The nose carries some light citrus hops with a touch of dankness in the background. Flavor is nice, but could use a little more hop flavor against the bitter background. Light body with fairly-heavy bitterness for the ABV. Pretty nice. This is a good summer brew. A session beer all can agree on.

Bottle. Pours a near clear orange gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma is full of earthy hops with notes of grass and leaves with backing earthy bread. Flavor is similar with earthy grass and a bit of grapefruit with backing bread notes.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Pailhead (3859) - Plymouth, Michigan, USA - APR 15, 2012
Bottle: The aroma consists of citrus, mango, and grapefruit. It pours sort of a transparent golden-orange with a two finger white head that fades to a soapy film within a minute or so. There’s some spotty webbing left of the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with quick dose of grass and herbal notes. The finish has lots of grapefruit, light pine, and just a hint of sweet citrus. It’s light bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, I wish the flavor mimicked the citrus and mango aromas. Regardless, it’s a nice light and sessionable IPA.

12ounce glass at the brewpub. This pours a ginger hue and has a very small ring of white. The nose is very grassy with wafts that are noticeable from a distance. The first sip is also grassy with bigger bitterness than expected. Carbonation is light. There seem to be west coast hops and some noble hops, as well. There are citrus and sulfer notes that come mid glass. Just a dash of caramel adds light sweetness but this is dry. It is very nice. I have extra admiration for a brewer that can extract flavor and character from a low ABV beer.

Draft. Pours mostly clear golden-yellow-orange in color with a one-finger white head. The aroma is hoppy and very fruity, with mango, citrus/orange, and pine. Dry and hoppy flavor with average bitterness. A bit of sweet malt and a great complex fruity hop character. Medium-bodied with a good level of carbonation. Overall a really good beer, especially considering the low-ass ABV.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 NobleSquirrel (3286) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 19, 2011
Draft at GABF. Pours a nice looking gold with a white head. Nose is really bright. Lots of citrus and herbal notes, clean and fresh. Some earthy malt sits in the background as well. On tasting, quite hop forward, fading into more of an earthy place. Bitterness is on the soft side, bit thin on the palate with a nice hop flavor. Pretty solid over all just lacking a little umph.
