COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prolonged Enjoyment has a huge earthy hop fragrance of green grass, pine, and citrus fruit. The sweet, malty flavors are met quickly by zesty American hop characteristics. This India Pale Ale has a light body but is packed with extraordinary bitterness. Bitter qualities linger briefly, before the mildly dry finish takes over.

Draft at Rezervoir Lounge - pours a light gold with a slight haziness . Great citrusy pine aroma . Taste is a little thin even for a session IPA . Kind of bready on the finish . Ok I guess . ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice job. Orange yellow pour white head. Floral pine and fruity aroma. Nice hop profile. Lots of fruity grapefruit notes with some pine in a light body moderate carbonation. Tasty and easy drinking.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought orange peel, grapefruit, spice and a hint of floral notes into some caramel, toffee in there. Taste is a mix of grass, grapefruit, yeast, spice, some orange, hints of caramel, finishing bitter.

Bottle: Cloudy yellow/amber with a small, off-white head. Strong grapefruit/orange-peel aroma. Taste is sweet orange and pine... Slight spicy peel bittering. Drinks fairly full bodied for such a light-weight. Nice.

Bottle. Pours a honey color. Medium sized white head. Some lacing. Nice big hoppy grapefruit aroma. Note that at this point Iím pretty excited. Unfortunately the next step is to taste it. Sadly the taste doesnít live up to the excitement caused by the aroma. I pick up some citrus and pine, but it seems very watery. I get the fact that its got to be hard to make something with such a low ABV, but it really seems watered down. Plenty of respect to Shorts to put out something that you can drink all day without feeling the effects, but it really is just ok. Not able to compete with Founders All Day IPA session ale in taste.

Hazy amber beer with a huge pale cream coloured head. Lovely nose of pineapple, mint, pine and tropical fruits. Palate is light and airy and a little crisp. Minerals. Thin malt, a little cream. Slightly watery hops, little pineapple, marmalade, pine and mild tropical fruits. Finishes crispy with a touch of lime. Yellow grapefruit aftertaste. Nice complexity here - but it could have done with more intensity.

HopCat in East Lansing. This beer is surprising. Shorts got it right with this 3.5% session. The appearance is a very light gold, and the aroma is surprisingly deep. A good amount of citrus and a large amount of hops seem present, though I donít know of this is the case. The taste is just as it smells. A bit citrusy and very hoppy. The finish is dry, but hardly lingers.

Draft on tap at The Beer Spot GTMW Eve Event at Brickhouse (Madison, WI). Pours a nice deeper hazed shady orange hue. A dulled glow, nice egdes. Frothy whitish head atop dies to a decent filmy layer, laces ok. Aromas are grapefruit rind, juice, and a bit of lemon. Some more rind oils, juicy quality, some gentle bready malt. Dry and firmly citrus driven. Initial is small body, light, and dry. A bit bitter. Small body lends itself a decent bitterness, touches of soap, florals, mellow grapefruit and citrus. Not as powerful as the nose. Middle is small bodied, decent with some session qualities. Some decent fruit, bread, dry grainy feel. Backend is dry, firmly bitter for itís size. Some resiny and rind qualities. Grapefruit, lemon, oils. Finish is dry, resiny and rind driven. Nice rind presence and citrus flavor without being tart, real bitter, or pulpy. Nice session beer.
