COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prolonged Enjoyment has a huge earthy hop fragrance of green grass, pine, and citrus fruit. The sweet, malty flavors are met quickly by zesty American hop characteristics. This India Pale Ale has a light body but is packed with extraordinary bitterness. Bitter qualities linger briefly, before the mildly dry finish takes over.

Draft at GABF. Pours a nice looking gold with a white head. Nose is really bright. Lots of citrus and herbal notes, clean and fresh. Some earthy malt sits in the background as well. On tasting, quite hop forward, fading into more of an earthy place. Bitterness is on the soft side, bit thin on the palate with a nice hop flavor. Pretty solid over all just lacking a little umph.

bottle. hazy amber with small head. aroma of citrus and tropical fruit pulp, with just a touch of sweetness and bitterness in the finish. flavor is very nice for a session ipa, and the abv is pretty shocking. nice and grapefruity with some nice bitter notes...dry finish. crisp, refreshing, and fantastic if 3.5 is really what this is at

12oz Bottle. Thanks Sean! Dank fresh orange-scented strong hop aroma. The body at 3.5% is quite good I think. The hops start working their juices and push out pine and resin and citrus. I do get some styrofoam and dusty pellet hop gunk in the flavor, but generally it’s decent. Shorts does have a very distinct house hop flavor that edges seedy to me sometimes. Rather bitter and dry, which works at this low gravity to give you something to sip at a low gravity. Definitely enjoying the hop level at this gravity, but I think the profile could use a little tweaking.

Prolonged Enjoyment pours a cloudy tangerine orange with a small off-white head that leaves minimal lacing. The aroma is citrus and the flavor is equally citrus. Overall this is a decent beer, especially for a session beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: Cloudy yellow/amber with a small, off-white head. Strong grapefruit/orange-peel aroma. Taste is sweet orange and pine... Slight spicy peel bittering. Drinks fairly full bodied for such a light-weight. Nice.

Bottle. An unclear one, golden in color and with a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is very fruity, mango, peaches and some oranges, a touch of pale malts too. The flavor is equally fruity, mango, peaches and oranges, with some malty sweetness in the back. Bitterness too. Medium body, soft and semi-dry. Lasting fruity finish with a good bitterness. Now this is a beer I could have a few of on a hot summer day. 141219

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2015 Gylden brun klar med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Humlepreg i lukt, sydhavsfrukter, grapefrukt og aprkos. Noe malt mot nøtter og fudge. Mest fruktsøt i starten med fin bitterhet i avslutningen,
