On tap at Sunset for their Shorts event prior to EBF. Pours a clear orange gold with a thin white head. Toast and hops on the nose. Sweet and toasty. Big long bitter finish. Probably one of the more bitter beers I’ve had in a while, but not unwelcome after a couple of the syrup bombs we had.

Orange juice like sweetness on a pretty solid if not strong hop nose. A pretty good pale ale, a bit on the sweet side to have more than one or two, but the flavor comes through really clearly. On tap at Sunset Grill.

Draft sample. Poured clear ruby golden color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy floral earthy hop aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy bitter & sour flavor with a moderate to heavy bitter & sour finish of medium to long duration. Interesting beer, but not my style.

like the 2009/2010 anniversary, this is done with blood oranges. an american pale. tap at hopcat for a shorts party in 12/10. less spicy and harsh than the anniv version. pours orange red with minimal head. big blood orange and florals. bitter and dry. full of flavor, and delicious.
