Pours with a larger than expected head. Color is a pinkish amber that tints the head a light pink. Sour aroma that is difficult to detect in the taste of the beer itself. The fruit flavors are subtle, if not underwhelming.

Bottle bought at Ölbutikken in May 2013. Clear ruby red with a small head. Sweet aroma and taste of strawberries, bread, notes of earth and light blueberries. Soft and very easy to drink. 8% alcohol? Impossible to notice that.

11-MAY-2013, bottle @home, from Ølbutikken. Pale, clear red with off-white head. Aroma is raspberry, parfumed and artificial. Taste the same. Sweet, no bitterness. Like red sodapop. Thin body, watery. Waste of money..

Easy drinking fruit punch.... or beer. Not much smell. Pours reddish purple. Thin white head. Poured in pint glass. Taste is straight BlackBerry, strawberry, a little tart, carbonated juice. Beer.... ehhh... but so easy to drink on a hot day.

Sampled from bottle @ Beer Temple, shared by Kermis. A bit hazy dark orange color, virtually no head. Smell and taste fruityness, strawberry, lots of berries anyway. Low to medium body and carbonation.

Pours a clear amber body with a fairly small head. Smells of blueberry and raspberry, not too strong, but a soft malt and fruity aroma. Tastes of berries and malts, Overall a fun drink with plenty of flavor

Some what bland but a solid choice for a person that enjoys fruity beers. Wish the taste was a little stronger though.

12oz bottle, thanks to umich03jm. Hazy ruby red color. Minimal white head, fades to very little. Nice fruit in the nose, smells like a strawberry cheesecake, or the fruit filling from some kind of pastry. A lot less fruit in the flavor, though, that’s kind of surprising. I mean, it’s still got a lot of berry flavor, pretty much all berry flavor, but I was expecting it to be a berry bomb at this ABV, it drinks like a much lighter fruit beer. Alcohol is well hidden. I was expecting this to be much sweeter, too. This flavor overall is very natural, nothing artificial tasting, which is very cool. Natural fruity sweetness, lightly tart. Nice long aftertaste, where the individual fruits show themselves a lot more. Rye is subtle amidst the fruit, but you notice some of its lightly toasty spicy bready influence in the overall background. Good crisp lighter carbonation. Medium to bigger body. Dry in the finish. Totally not what I expected, but totally awesome. This is a great fruit beer. Would love to try the imperial version
