Liquified laughter from fruit filled disaster.
Simply put: Fruit Rye Ale. A bountiful blend of toasted rye flakes and two row malted barley make wort fermented with 200 pounds of pureed strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries resulting in a sweet fruity delicacy. Intoxicatingly refreshing and brewed special for those ladies who enjoy their wine.

Some what bland but a solid choice for a person that enjoys fruity beers. Wish the taste was a little stronger though.

This is my first beer from Short’s. Not bad, it is pretty easy to drink and you definitely taste the berries.

Bottle, Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Hazy reddy-amber pour, with a small off-white head. Sweetish nose with berry fruit notes. Flavour was similar with some raspberry and blueberry alongside a little tartness and some pale malts. Fruit seems somehow artificial and a bit thin overall. I was expecting more here - disappointing.

On draft Soft parade pours a slightly pinkish yellow with a very thin off white head that doesn’t last long. The aroma is sweet fruit, blueberry and strawberry and wheat. The flavor is wheat, strawberry and blueberry. Overall this beer is average.

Draft pour into a tulip glass. Pours a purple red with a pink head of foam. The arom has dark cherry and berry notes. Sweet and fruity taste. Medium body and soft carbonation. Not bad, really.

Clear reddish to pink colored pour with a thin head. Aroma of musty fruit, notably strawberries. Medium mouth. Taste is light overall. Strawberry and hints of medicine. Something really strange about this beer. Melon rind & a strange mustiness.

Thanks DrSilverworm! Unfortunately, I did not enjoy this. I tend to like the style, but the tartness was too much. Worth a shot.

Bottle from Drake’s Party Center. Pours brown with a white head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Wasn’t expecting the rye note on the nose. It kind overshadows the fruit on the tongue but I do get some fruity goodness on the finish. I don’t mind fruit beers that taste like fruit and this could have been bolder.
