COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Liquified laughter from fruit filled disaster.
Simply put: Fruit Rye Ale. A bountiful blend of toasted rye flakes and two row malted barley make wort fermented with 200 pounds of pureed strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries resulting in a sweet fruity delicacy. Intoxicatingly refreshing and brewed special for those ladies who enjoy their wine.

Pours a nice strawberry red. Nose is fresh berries. Taste is sweet strawberries followed by a hint of tart raspberries and slight rye kick at the finish. Well played for a 8% beer. Shorts doing what Shorts does well!

Muddled looking brown with light purple/red. Nose is wheat and fruit syrups. Taste follows. Kind of like a berlinerweisse with syrup, but without the tarness to cut it. Pretty gross...

12 oz. bottle served in shaker, served a transparent copper with light pink and peach highlights when held to light, broken white wisps for a head. Aroma of fermented fruit (both summer and dark) and yeast. Hits the mouth with a light body, raspberries and blueberries dominate the start, blackberry and peach on the finish. Way too fruity for me!

"You cannot petition the Lord with Coors!" The Lizard King never said that, and he also never drank this beer. So there is that. Shortís has a reputation as a brewer of undrinkable beers. This redeems them.....a bit. If you ask your server for a "drink that Jim would approve of" he will let this swill flow into your glass like he has unleashed his bladder all over an unbridled fire of inferno proportions. I rated this as high as I did because it references the most bitching band in the world: The Doors!

Decent fruit beer. Wheaty, straw, cereal aromas - crunch berries. Tart berry flavors, strawberry, raspberries, and blueberries. Medium high carbonation, light mouthfeel.

[7333-20150704] Tap. Fruity berry aroma. Hazy, brown red body with a quick foamy white head. Fruity berry flavour has a nice raspberry blackberry crispness. Medium body. Good. (7/3/7/3/13) 3.3

2015-07-04. Hazy red body with a tiny beige head. Aroma of fruity berries. 6+ Flavour is pleasant fruity berry mix, with no distinct type standing out. Average plus bodied palate, soft carbonation. Decent, enjoyable. Dangerously drinkable - I didnít realize how strong it is! On tap at Grand Trunk, Detroit.
