First of all, is this really 9%?!? Honestly tastes like 6% TOPS, I really don’t believe this could be 9, well, keep a six pack around for your date if nothing else! Clear ruby cranberry color with a very light white head, I can tell it’s not filtered despite the clarity of this sauce, aroma is pilsener malt and raspberry, flavor is light pilsener malt, edgy bitters and some extra bitter tannin kick too, mildly tart and slightly acidic, this stuff is really a lot better much warmer than your fridge temp. so that more of the interesting fruit flavors can come through, a little grassy

An ok fruit beer. Aroma was decent. All types of berries with a little funkiness. Pour was a beautiful hazy dark pink/light purple with a one finger off white head. Taste started out good. Not too sweet but full of strawberry and raspberry mostly. Weird thing is in midsip and after the swallow, the flavor disappeared and almost turned to water. Very odd for a beer that started out so strong. Nice strong carbonation helped.

Ruby colored. Nice fruity aroma...lots of berries. Plenty tart and slightly earthy berry. Spice. Light, good summer fruit beer,

Bottle courtesy of my friend Lance. thanks! Pinkish colored with a short white head. Aroma is berry jam, ripe berries and tart berries. Taste is berry jam, sweet malt, candied fruit, and tart berries. Body is medium with a soft bubbly carbonation. Ends with more berry notes, tart fruit, strawberry jam and candied fruit notes. Nice!

Best thing about this beer is, by far, the aroma: berries, wheat, wet grain, yeast. Short lived pink head, no lace. Flavor’s awful. Reminds me a bit of an antibiotic I had to take for tonsillitis as a kid. Texture is oily. Finish makes me grimace.

I was disappointed. This is a brew that is out of my normal taste so I hate to low rate. I will try it again and re-rate if my taste changes. It is a pretty pour..nice white head dissipates quickly...the color is beautiful pink and clear. The flavor is more grapefruit than berries to my tongue...though not bitter it is not sweet and definitely not flavorful to my palate.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from One Stop Market. Aroma is mixed berries, particularly blueberries and raspberries. Appearance is hazy dark copper with trace sparkle, 1 1/2 finger-width foamy white head with purple tinge, fair retention and decent sudsy lacing. Taste is strawberry, raspberry and blueberry. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with soft carbonation and fruity finish. Overall, the berries carry the day, covering up the rye or any other feature.

UPDATED: JUN 17, 2016 Straight from the bottle sitting at the campfire. Fruity. Seems like a solid base underneath.

Pours a hazy ruby red. Looks like grapefruit juice. Thin white head. Aroma is raspberries, blackberries, blueberry, and wheat. Taste is strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, and blackberries. Sweet and a bit tart. Wheat and grassy hops as well. Thin to average. Nice and refreshing.

From bottle. Hazy pink pour with no real head or lacing. Fruity aroma and strong fruity berry taste. The 8 ABV well hidden by the fruit. Not particularly sweet or tart. Medium mouthfeel.

Cloudy, amber. Tartness and lots of berry. Blueberry and strawberry with light tartness and light yeast.
