Bottle. Pours a very light fruity red with only a sight head. Aroma is a light fruit mixture. Taste is a very eclectic berry mix. Very light carbonation. This beer started rather acidic, but finishes pretty smooth. Had one of these a week later and it was outstanding. ABV is stout, but you cannot detect it.

Blindfolded, I think raspberry would be the only fruit I could pick out in this but that’s okay; I like raspberries fine. This is sort of a deep orange color w/ maybe a hint of red to it w/ a big, fairly creamy head. The raspberry hits me up front but isn’t over-the-top or anything, allowing for a good bit of cookie-like malt character to come out as well. This is full bodied and creamy w/o being sweet or heavy feeling. Combined w/ a touch of acidity from the fruity and it makes for a nice, refreshing experience. It is kind of annoying they say this is for "ladies" since I don’t see why anyone can’t enjoy a nice fruit beer but, say what you will, I think Shorts nailed exactly what they were going for on this one.

From beer club. Pours murky dull red with medium foamy white head. Aroma and taste of berries slight carbonation. Pretty much what I expected from the brewers description but it's just a little too fruity and sweet for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. From Mom. Pours a pinkish amber color with fast dissipating head. All kinds of berry aroma on the nose. Average carbonation. Medium sweetness. A nice blend of light fruit flavor with some malts. Not overly fruity. A slight warming alcohol too. Not too shabby.

This is a really good beer. This is like a dessert beer. I could drink that fruity beer for a long time with a nice piece of cheesecake.

bottle @ Chief Market / Lima OH --- Aroma of malt, berry, and a little yeast. Clear medium amber with a pink hue, head that quickly drops to a thin ivory rim, no lace. Taste is malt and light berry that moves abruptly through light fizz to a bitter cardboard finish. I can’t accept that this is what the brewer intended. This one starts okay, but makes a quick descent into hell. Only drank 4 ozs. of it, which was too much.

An ok fruit beer. Aroma was decent. All types of berries with a little funkiness. Pour was a beautiful hazy dark pink/light purple with a one finger off white head. Taste started out good. Not too sweet but full of strawberry and raspberry mostly. Weird thing is in midsip and after the swallow, the flavor disappeared and almost turned to water. Very odd for a beer that started out so strong. Nice strong carbonation helped.

Ruby colored. Nice fruity aroma...lots of berries. Plenty tart and slightly earthy berry. Spice. Light, good summer fruit beer,

Bottle courtesy of my friend Lance. thanks! Pinkish colored with a short white head. Aroma is berry jam, ripe berries and tart berries. Taste is berry jam, sweet malt, candied fruit, and tart berries. Body is medium with a soft bubbly carbonation. Ends with more berry notes, tart fruit, strawberry jam and candied fruit notes. Nice!

Best thing about this beer is, by far, the aroma: berries, wheat, wet grain, yeast. Short lived pink head, no lace. Flavor’s awful. Reminds me a bit of an antibiotic I had to take for tonsillitis as a kid. Texture is oily. Finish makes me grimace.
