Bottle… Pours black with a small, creamy taupe head. The bouquet offers chocolate, mild mocha and light vanilla with a trace of cinnamon. Light to medium-bodied with stinging carbonation. The perfectly balanced flavor presents nuances of espresso and dark chocolate, but seems watered down. Finishes crisp, clean and a touch dry. Bottle courtesy of StFun!

On tap RAF Chicago: Thick coffee-like aroma. Body is sweet, robust, and malty, but I didn't notice much wheat profile. Finish is roasty and smooth. Somewhat complex and quite enjoyable.

On tap at Brickhouse BBQ. Poured deep brown with not much head on it. The aroma was on the sweet side, with a lot of roast too.. blended chocolate and black patent maltage for the most part.. tangy wheat popped around the nose.. just OK. The flavor found heavy, astringent black patent roast above all else.. cocoa and darker chocolate were in there too.. sharp roast and wheaty tartness prickled the sides of the tongue.. finished sharp with lots of woody and wheaty notes plus chocolate. Medium-bodied, dry, and very grainy on the palate.. too astringent.. not one I really want to try again.

Burnt popcorn immediately jumps up the nostrils. Body is deep brown, mostly clear and wears the faintest light beige head. Light acidity disturbs a bit the chocolate, coffee and nutty caramel sweetness. Smallish bitterness, Light bodied, bitter and roasty mix creates an average balance at best. I really dd not dig this one as much as my peers.
