Pub-only. The Duke is a full bodied English Extra Special Bitter, with light aromas of sweet malt and fruity hops. Distinguishable malt characteristics of toffee and brown sugar are decadently enhanced by a mouth coating creaminess. This creaminess results from the nitrogen conditioning and pouring process. The beer perfectly transitions to a sufficient bitterness that lingers pleasantly into the finish.

Nitro draft at the brewpub. Hazy medium orange body, puffy creamy beige head. Light floral, perfumey nose. Soft, creamy body with citrus peel but not too tannic or bitter; reminds me of iced tea sweetened with orange blossoms. Interesting beer, light but complex.

Draft sample. Poured clear dark amber hue with huge creamy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate aroma of toffee and malt. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Well balanced flavor of sweet malt with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
