Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a very dark amber with a red hue in the light and a thin soapy white head, aroma is sweet with notes of dark fruit and malt, the flavor has a touch of chocolate mixed in with the dark fruits and malt, fruity character in the finish, not terrible.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Ruddy brown ale with off white head. Aroma of raisens, figs, roasted malts, a bit of caramel, a bit of tart fruit. Taste starts with a sweet caramel malt that transitions to a sour / tart fruit taste that verges on the unpleasant. Finishes with a bit of lingering sour and tart. Interesting.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A: The beer pours red in color with a finger of off-white head.
S: Some sweet malt and toffee aromas with a strange roast aroma. There is some toasted malt aroma and a touch of caramel. A slight metallic note and some fruitiness.
T: Sweet toffee and bread with caramel and toast. As on the aroma, there was a little bit of metal, maybe even some roasted malt. A strange fruitiness, maybe a little bit of tartness.
M: Light to medium in body with medium carbonation.
O: Not a very good red ale. The strange fruitiness and metal note didn’t do much for me.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a very dark ruby color. Small light tan head. Interesting aroma that I can’t put my hands on. Flavor is a fruity tartness. I feel some darker fruits in here. This beer is plenty drinkable, but not something I really would look forward to.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle thanks to rayl101. Semi-opaque amber pour with no head. Light carbonation throughout. Aroma was quite pleasant. Lots of complex malt with loads of caramel with just a touch of sweetness. Flavors were similar, lots of crystal malts, then an odd fruity character that I couldn’t put my finger on. Finish had little to no sweetness, smooth with little carbonation. Quite good for the style.
