Another inventive and creative attempt from shorts comes first with a standard brown ale-sorta flavor, followed in a the unexpected form of a pancake, stuffed with pecans and soaked in maple syrup... wait a while and i think this will improve [note to self head up to shorts and buy two of these wait 2-5 years... enjoy :-) ]

Bottle: Pours brown with a medium head. Aroma of alcohol and sugar. Flavor starts out as sugar (syrup) with a very strong finish of pecans. Very good.

thanks for sharing Yaniv! Pours a reddish brown with a good enough creamy tan head. Strong sweetness, maple, but not a lot of darker malt. Some nuttiness, but mostly sweet and light. Creamy subdued body with low carbonation and not a ton of viscosity for how large this beer is. Very sweet with well enough hidden alcohol. Some lighter maple. Lingering sickening sort of sweetness. Not round malt. Nutty sweetness as it warms. Lingering sweetness almost cloying, but it’s just not that deep to be that annoying.

Thanks to goldtwins for sharing - smells of rum, pecans, maple syrup, dough - smells like a Louisiana pastry shop - thick mouthfeel - maple syrup is strongest in the flavor, with some leafy bitter character and an alcohol burn - pecans and other nutty qualities - caramel and pastry-like sweetness - interesting, but it doesn’t come together as well as it could.

Poured a clear deep copper color with a thin off-white head. Fruity esters with nutty notes and some alcohol. the flavor was sweet and nutty with some mild maple syrup notes on the finish. Medium bodied.
