Wit Happens is a Belgian White beer brewed with coriander, grains of paradise, and orange peel. Delicate aromas of sweet citrus and bready malt rise from this hazy pale yellow ale. Although perceivably low on the nose, the spicy contributions from the Belgian yeast come through instantly upon first taste, offering pleasant clove complements to the additional peppery flavors. Followed by a soft banana-like sweetness and a mildly pleasant tang, the finish is relatively clean marked by a slight spiciness and a touch of bitterness.

Orange body with a mild haze and a thin white cap. Sweet banana and clove aroma. A hint of apples with a strong wheat character. Light in body with zesty carbonation. Pretty good.

I got this in an in person trade. This was poured into a mug. The appearance was a slight cloudy yet somewhat clear yellow to off white coloring. It had a nice looking foamy one finger white head that dissipated within less than about thirty seconds. The smell definitely had a nice sharp citrus appeal with a nice spice of coriander and clove. The taste was semi-sweet, somewhat yeasty and nice citrus aspects amplified with a slight spicy complement. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a good sessionability about it. The carbonation was good for the style and for me. There was a slight sharp appeal rolling over my tongue. Overall, I say this was a good witbier I would bang again.

Bottle. Pours a near clear earthy yellow with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has lots of sweet wheat with a touch of earthiness and a hint of citrus. Flavor has a good amount of wheat with growing sweetness and a touch of citrus.

Bubbly mostly transluscent golden color with sparse white foam ring on top. Sweeter apple and creamy pilsner aroma with belgian yeast as well: wheaty, waxy, soapy, some citrus rind as well, some coriander and clove. Fizzy carbonation, light body, very effervescent crisp finish. Taste of banana and light wheat, coriander, grassy, cloves. Nice crisp belgian with light body and full flavor.
