Wit Happens is a Belgian White beer brewed with coriander, grains of paradise, and orange peel. Delicate aromas of sweet citrus and bready malt rise from this hazy pale yellow ale. Although perceivably low on the nose, the spicy contributions from the Belgian yeast come through instantly upon first taste, offering pleasant clove complements to the additional peppery flavors. Followed by a soft banana-like sweetness and a mildly pleasant tang, the finish is relatively clean marked by a slight spiciness and a touch of bitterness.

Sweet, spicy, and crisp with a typically Belgian wit yeasty flavor. Slightly peppery.

There are lots of low alcohol Wits. This is average. Cloudy blond color. Part of variety pack.

Bottle 355ml. Pours hazy blond with low white head. Some lacing. Aroma is of coriander, spices. Taste is of wheat, coriander, fruits, spices. Palate: Light-medium body. Good balance. Medium carbonation. Overall: Very nice witbier. Not bland as they sometimes can be.

bottle. Hazy golden with small head. Definitely not quite a traditional wit. A bit more malt than usual. Plenty of orange and lighter on the spicing. Decent.

pours unclear pale yellow with a thin white cap, some retention and lacing. coriander, pepper, wheaty and lemony, sulfur, light bananas. moderately low carbonation, light body, dry and lightly astringent spicy-herbal-grassy-peppery-citrusy finish. i prefer my wits cleaner, i.e. phenol-exempt but this one is overall well crafted.

Bottle (12 oz). Courtesy of czar, thanks! Slightly hazy yellow/golden with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is moderately spicy (coriander, cloves) with grains, light pepperiness and hints of citrus. Taste is similar to the aroma with more grains and a little less pepper. Light to medium body. Soft carbonation. Mild moderately lasting peppery finish. Drinkable. Good balance between the spices, citrus and grains. Well executed Wit!

Bottle. Pours a cloudy light orange with a very small head that fades to a messy ring. Aromas are banana, clove, sourdough bread, and pineapple. Taste brings bubblegum, banana, clove, light tropical fruit and dry spices. Light sweetness throughout. A touch watery but still a pretty solid wit.

12 oz bottle. Pours a rather hazy golden with a white head. Yeasty clove and bubble gum aroma with herbal suggestions. Wheat and lighter yeastiness in the flavor, herbal and citrus peel notes. A pretty nice one.

pours cloudy light golden, slight white head, lots of thin lacing. Aroma coriander up front, bubblegum, clove, faint sweet orange peel. Taste sweet wheat malt, coriander most pronounced, clove more detectable than bubblegum, orange peel is very slightly there on the finish. Mouthfeel thinish body, lower medium carbonation, crisp dry finish. Overall real tasty, very good wit bier, all flavors balanced, slightly more orange peel would put this over the top.
