Yosemite Scooter is a lighter bodied American Pale Ale with a dirty blonde color and delightful aromas of bright zesty orange, mango, and rich sticky hops. Excellent hop flavors of citrus fruit and berries blast across the palate, along with a mild earthiness. Succeeded by a moderate bitterness, the beer has a lingering fruit, rind-like quality with traces of pine.

Shorts="Stroh’s" backwards. Think about it. And think about the fact that Stroh’s is the ONLY BEER KNOWN to ME that I would rather be SOBER than drink again.....go back and read again. So this Short’s while not Stroh’s is still not Blatz. So put that in the bank and not make a withdrawal on......unless it’s withdrawal symptoms. Yosemite Sam, and for that matter "Pecos Bill" from "Tom & Jerry" deserve better than this.

Mild aroma with hints of pine and caramel. Pours a very cloudy orange-amber with a thin, quickly fading white head. Sharp tropical fruit notes start the flavor off, with some toffee, caramel, pine, and earth coming through. Fades to a lingering mango/earthy finish. Light bodied, with a lot of hop complexity through the beer.

Hazy orange body. Steady off-white head. DeScription sort of overhypes it. Solid resinous hop tones, just not exploring any new territory. Thick enough that I’d call it an IPA. A little sweet, but respectable enough hop depth. OK. Garlic-onion-caramel.

Bottle. Pour honey color. Small white head. Little bit of lacing. Mild pine aroma. Flavor of citrus. Excellent balance between sweet and bitter. Nice balanced mouth feel. I’m not normally a big PA fan, but I really liked this one. Would be a great session PA. Definitely would drink again.

Poured hazy orangish color with small white head. Aroma - toasted grains, lemon and pine. Taste - pretty much just how it smells. Toasted grains, lemony with piney finish. Palate is thin and has nice bitter slightly dry crisp finish. Overall - a fairly good APA. Nice session beer, easy to drink and abv is pretty low.

Draft on tap at Brickhouse (Madison, WI). Pours a deep amber orange hue, decent haziness with frothy whitish head atop. Firmer ring sticks around and laces well enough. Good glow overall. Aromas are a bit hoppy, decent citrus, grapefruit rind with some juicy elements, touches of bread, florals, and gentle tropical fruit. Initial is lighter end of the fold with firmer citrus, some touches of bitter hops. Grapefruit, bread, crisp cereal malts. A bit fuzzy. Some more grapefruit rind, florals. Backend is dry, a good bitterness hits with grapefruit rind, some nice bitterness. Nice APA.
