Bottle. Golden with a large white head. Aromas are lager shandy with lime. Grain with rum barrel. Flavours are sweet lemonade with grain and rum flavouring. Some sugar. Bitter on the finish. Fairly boozy. Not a favourite.

Appearance: Clear golden amber with finger thick white head. Aroma: Fairy washing up liquid, citrus, syrup. Taste: Medium sweetness, low bitter and sourness. Palate: Thin slight coarse texture, light body, average carbonation, sweet lingering citrus, syrupy finish. Comments: Ok. Rum? Will be amazed if any human senses can detect it!

330ml bottle from B&M. Not much to say about this one. Aroma of lemonade. Taste has citrus, couldn’t taste beer or rum. Dull.

There seems to be a strong correlation between sweetened hybrid beer-drinks and tropical countries.... I wonder why is that? Someone must do a study! This has a pale golden body with minimal carbonation and almost no head. The aroma is hops bolstered by plenty of weird sugary sweetness, not suggesting rum, but rather beer-adjunct hell. The flavour is a weird bitters-taste of sweet leaves and hops. The rum and the hops are certainly not working well together! Like chewing on a lime with sugar wrapped in it. Where is the beer again? I wish I could say something for this other than absolutely revolting.

0.33L bottle. Sweet, lime aroma. False citrus, boiled corn taste. Very sweet and some chemical added, which should be a rum flavor. I think it is sugary lime syrup with a few beer inserted on it.

Bottle @audio batley. Golden amber colour decent white head. Aroma is sweet malts. Taste is seet sugar cane and a malty finish. Reminds me of a despersdos. But with rum instead of tequila. Very nice end of night drink after your bloated off real ale!

Bottle. Golden body, minimal head. Aroma has artificial lime and dried piss. Taste has sweet lemon candy with some cidery sourness. Yuck. I think this is almost certainly the same beer as the "Dead Crow" - neither one actually has any Rum or Bourbon taste. I think I overrated Dead Crow but it didn’t have such a pissy aroma as this one.

Clear glass bottle, 330 ml, poured into a stemmed glass at home, ABV 5.5% Deep golden yellow colour on the body, one finger of white head, average retention. Medium lacing on the glass. No aroma of rum, just some lime smell, along with brown sugar. Tastes weird, I can’t say it tastes like rum though. Sugar again, quite sweet as a taste. Again lime notes and grass or leaves. Mild citric sourness on the aftertaste. Thin body, average carbonation with a bite. Overall very mediocre even for a infused beer.

Bottle at chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013 - London. Pours clear gold with a light, white cream head. Nose of lime and mild bread. Very sugary flavor with rotten citrus - lime in particular. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Sugary, syrupy finish, more lime. Poor.
