2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Christian Nielsen, the Vampyre. [Odense Tasting.]
Well, here is some of the fluid which runs into the black sea, but maybe not this summer, when the degrees hit around 45 C. Good in the heat!

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Golden color, nice head. Malty aroma. Flavor is malty, some hoppy tones. Better than svetlo?

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Dark amber clear with a small short lasting head. Faint caramel and roasted malt, and even fainter coffee and hops aromas. Medium thin body. Light roasted malts and stronger bitter all the way through to the finish and aftertaste.

1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Sweet mother of mercy, this was awful - maybe it lost something in the trip over but I doubt it could lose that much. The bottle procured from the local ethnic grocer poured out a predictable pale yellow with no head. There would be no lacing here. Smelled a little metallicy, vaguely hoppy in a miller lite kind of hops way. Flavor was just plain bad, mettalic a little sweetness but the malt and hops seemed absent must be largely adjunct in this bad boy. Carbonated dishwater best explains the feel of this one in the mouth.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Clear golden appearance, medium head. Malty and grassy aroma, typical lager style, not outstanding.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can via my parents on a trip. Pours straw gold with decent white head. Nose is sweet malt with those adjunct fillers. Flavor is much the same, rather sweet with a some notes of corn. Little to no hop bitterness. Light body with sweet watery finish.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
At an bulgarian shop in Zaandam, plastic bottle 2000ml ! Golden, thin head, some strange notes, like spices, nice grainy bottom and bits like an bohemian, but the strange notes make me wondering.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear golden color, medium foamy head. Interesting aroma of hops and herbs. Balanced very well with ideal interplay of fruits, malts and spicy/piney hops.

2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Nice flavour for a canned lager. Watery texture, though. Not entirely without merit.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
500 ml can from bulgarianfood.co.uk. The fact this is brewed by Carlsberg Bulgaria hightened my expectations to the point that I almost lost control of my bowel movements. This is a blonde lager ŕ la Carlsberg. Oh yes, it has that musty, sickly sweet, rancid honey malt aroma, like a bee keeper’s armpits on a hot day. Rough, bubbly feel. The taste at least has some metal to avoid being just another sweet malty thing. Its bitter saltiness grew on me. Gassy. Very gassy. Ok but definitely not very spetsialno.
