My Bottom Line :
This Amber Ale’s dryish, svelte body exhibits toasty Munich malt subtleties and leafy, earthy hops for a very drinkable brew with plenty of nuances to keep you interested throughout the pint.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A ring of foam circles the russet haze.
-The lean mouthfeel, coupled with the uncharacteristic Munich malt flavors, make this quite lager-like.
-Caramel sweetness is subdued, increasing drinkability.
-The mouthfeel is tight, with soft effervescence.
-This is as interesting as can be for a brewpub "Amber Ale" or plain "Rousse".
-The flavor profile is as polished as any other Siboire beer.

On tap at the brewpub.

In short: Fruit caramel and fruity leafy hops abound in this tasty APA calling itself an Amber ale.
How: Tap at brewpub (oct 2008)
The look: Clear copper body topped by a small off-white head
In long: Strong nose of tropical fruits, leafy hops, tree bark, caramel. Taste is intense fruity caramel, pine-tree, citrus, grapefruits, orange, tree bark, more… Nice dryness in the finish with a short and sharp bitterness. Only 24 IBU?!?!? I’m entering this as an Amber ale cause that’s how they described it on the brewpub board but this is one tasty beer for an “Amber” ale (usually a color style). Screw the AA, I want more AAA.
