Bottle from slow beer. Pours muddy brown with a small disappearing white head. Nose upfront has citrus, stone fruit and pine. Taste has a pine hop bitterness. Nice caramel malt backing. Palate is left crisp with a nice hop bitterness. Very fruit driven pale ale. Nice stuff

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a slightly hazy amber colour with thin white head. Caramel malts on the nose, with grapefruit and mango hop aromas accompanying. High carbonation with thin body. Quite dry with a medium bitterness. Okay, but a little lacking in balance and defining features.

Bottle from Slow Beer May 2013. Well rounded beer this one and not a bad effort for this first brew. Honey amber colour with off white head.

Nice little pale ale. The aroma was prob best aspect. Colour was a golden caramel, taste was a bit behind the aroma but a solid beer overall. At 4.7% a good session beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a dark golden color with a fair head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of pine, citrus, fruity, with a bit it of caramel and grass. Taste of of some pine and citrus, with a mix of caramel and fruit sweetness and bit of grain. Nice bitterness and a clean finish. Fairly medium body, crisp, smooth and well balanced. Beer has a nice freshness throughout. Enjoyable beer that goes down easy.

Bottle from Slowbeer. "Brewed to Amaze" the label say, and it certainly did! Slightly hazy amber/orange, an amazing combination of aromas and flavours, but subtle and balanced at the same time. Peach, lemonade, rockmelon, pine, caramel, biscuity malt. Excellent!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The Amber and Cara malts give it a very neat bite. Its distinctive, partly because of the combination of malt and hops..
When I first tasted the beer it threw me. Itís not your usual boring pale ale.
At first I couldnít work out if I liked it or not. Itís just different...
I came to realise that itís actually a very decent beer.
The use of Cascade and particularly Amarillo hops make this brew a winner, with the latter complimenting the malts and providing itís distinctive flavour.
This is a well crafted and thoughtful beer. As a beer lover I appreciate that and will treat myself again.
Lets hope the following batches turn out like this current run.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours dark amber with a fading head.
Super hoppy aroma, lots of peach, orange blossom, lemon, nectarine and confectionery. Also some soft biscuity malt.
Toasty malt as a flavour, along with some of the aforementioned fruit. A bit grassy.
Too much carbonation.

Bottle from Acland Cellars in a tulip glass on 9/3/2013. Pours golden brown with a fairly minimal off white head. Strong fruity aroma with elements of tropical/stone fruit and a hint of pine. A mild, slightly caramel malt body with a pleasant bitterness on the finish. A very drinkable pale ale.
