In 1975 Don Juan began working as a porter – carrying tremendous loads throughout the Andes Mountains on countless climbing expeditions. His legacy lives on in this delicious and hearty porter. Poured dark brown with a smallish, dark tan head. Chocolate and dark fruit aroma. Nice bitter taste with some complex fruits flavors. Smooth, nice balanced flavors and a well-made porter.

330 ml bottle Aroma: A nice and complex caramel, cereal, chocolate and coffee mix of aromas, with hints of clove, liquorice and resin. Appearance: a dark chocolate coloured cloudy beverage, forming a brown head that lasts longer than the other Sierra Andina beers. Taste: Sweet and bitter, like a dark chocolate, or an oxidized coffee. Palate: full body, creamy with an average carbonation. a short bitter finish leaves you refreshed. Overall I’m glad with this porter, the best of Sierra Andina’s beers in my opinion and very well made. Prost!
