COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Nut Brown is brewed with English Ale yeast. In English tradition, we use only English Fuggle hops, which are low in bitterness and produce a mild floral hop taste. The complexity of this Nut Brown is created mainly by the Chocolate and Dark Chocolate malted barley.

There is a roasted coffee flavor with hints of chocolate and nutty or nutmeg finish on the back of the tongue. This Nut Brown has the widest spectrum of flavors of any Nut Brown on the market.

This is a very good Brown Ale, my sister brought some back from a trip out west. Beer is always the best souvenir, it’s a liquid post card. Pours a light chestnut color with a thin beige head. Pleasant roasty nut aroma. Flavor of brown sugar, nuts and hops with a good dry finish. A good New Mexican beer.

Aroma - basic malt, nutty, faint sweetness; Appearance - very dark brown, fluffy head, decent lacing; Taste - slightly sweet malt front, back is nutty, hint of chocolate, dry finish; Palate - somewhat crisp, good body; Overall - solid brew, nothing over the top yet still well built.

Deep ruby auburn color. Aroma is very nutty with TONS of caramel, almost like unfermented caramel malt with lots of coffee and chocolate notes to boot, very rich for a nut brown, almost like fresh made wort mixed in the end. Flavor is a little more bitter but the rich caramel and chocolate is very present. Finish was wet and slightly sweet and bitter. Overall this is a great nut brown with lots of good flavors associated with the style. The toffee/caramel notes in this one are exceptionally well pronounced. Thanks dmwhal!

Malty aroma of hazelnut, dark toast, and caramel. Clear ruby-brown color, thin off-white head. Sweet, nutty, malty flavor, no hops detectable. Medium body, smooth. One of the best examples of a brown ale I’ve tried.

A well brewed Brown with a very pleasing nut flavor. Lighter bodied which allows for a high drinkablility. Very enjoyable.

Definitely a nut brown. A lot of nuttiness in the nose and flavor mixed with a good balance of brown sugar and perhaps nutmeg. A nice warm feeling comes over me while drinking it!

White frothy head. Good brown color. Not much apparent carbonation. Slowly diminishing head. Good nutty flavor.

Good malt aroma. Body is well balanced with the malt and nut flavors. Finishes drier with each sip. A decent brew.
