Commercial Description:
This is a true American Pale Ale; well balanced malt to hop flavor.

There is a slight caramel flavor up front derived from German Munich malts, followed by a citrus/grapefruit flavor derived from Cascade hops with a peppery flavor bite on the back of the throat.

12 oz. bottle. Per the brewery web site, IBU 45, O.G. 1.052, ABV 6%. Pours a thin off white head, with attractive lacing, over a clear amber (SRM 8) body.....nose is light pineapple, bit of pine, bit of citrus....taste initially slightly sweet caramel malts leading to medium citrus/pineapple bitterness....mouth feel is medium, as is carbonation. This has all the right characteristics, but is slightly lighter in all phases than the best in this style.

Appearance: Pours a clear, orangey body with a small, bubbly, white head. Smell: Not much there, really, beyond some hints of pale malts and a floral, spicy hoppiness. Taste: Pale malts with a mild sweetness. Gulp of water. Floral hops with a touch of spiciness. Medium bitterness that rides out to the finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: A below average pale ale. Fairly bland and exceedingly forgettable.

Bottle. Aroma has a corm malt aroma. Has the normal copper colored body with pale white head. Wet malted corn mash with some hop bitterness. Wet corn aftertaste is not to exciting but better than swill.

Bottle. Pours a brownish amber with a limited head. Lightly scents of fruit and malt. Malty with some sweetness on the palate maybe some slight caramel. Very minimal carbonation. Thin and watery, not much body. Fair at best. Thanks Flaco Alto for the bottle.

12 oz bottle, via FlacoAlto. Pours a slightly hazy orange with minimal to no head. Very grainy aroma with some soft floral hops. Fairly sweet and fruity flavor with some soft floral hoppiness again. Rather bland and non-descript. Light bodied with minimal carbonation. Unexciting and boring mouthfeel. Overall this is pretty bland and sweet with little to no complexity.
