COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We have blended eight different types of barley to create this amber ale. It appeals to the largest segment of craft beer drinkers who enjoy a smooth, malty ale with no hop bitterness.

Las Vegas, NV - Total Wine - Summerlin - 12 oz bottle. Medium copper pour, tight off-white head, very light lacing, Aroma has some fruity cherry notes, a hint of toffee sweetness. Flavor is pleasant with some light caramel sweetness, a touch of nuttiness, some toffee notes in the back end. Pleasantly thick mouthfeel. Decent.

Clear amber pour. Smell of roasted malts and what I think is chocolate or coffee but that’s me I guess. The same goes for taste. Too bad the mouthfeel is Bud Light thin. Somewhat low to medium carbo. I actually enjoyed this beer.

Poured from bottle from the cellar (54F). Pours with very little head and rapidly dissipates to a ring of foam. The brewer’s description is dead on - there is very little to no hop aroma. Aromas of hay and malt. Taste is malty with essentially no bitterness; caramel and malt. I do like the malty flavor, but it isn’t particularly complex. Would be good with food.

maxwelldeux (3595) - Everett, Washington, USA - MAR 16, 2014
Bottle. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a small white head on it. Nose is rather light and slightly toasty. Taste is unremarkable and slightly malty, with just a bit of sweetness. Save for the label, entirely forgettable.

Bottle. No glass to pour into. Taste was really thin and almost watered down. Not a great amber.

Basic amber ale with a very cool bottle. Easily drinkable with a good flavor. Light amber color with a slight aroma

ttroha (253) - Georgia, USA - JAN 8, 2014
Bottle. Transparent amber with frothy white head that clears quickly. Very little aroma, but there is a hint of earthy and hops. Taste is very carbonated, with flavors of malts, barley and water. Meh. Not great but it has a cool label.

pours a amber color with small white head that does not last long. the aroma is earthy, barley. the taste is more of the same. not much difference than american adjunct lager to be honest but at least the bottle is cool to add to the collection.
