We have blended eight different types of barley to create this amber ale. It appeals to the largest segment of craft beer drinkers who enjoy a smooth, malty ale with no hop bitterness.

Not as good as it looks. Had a great head and dark color out of the bottle but its taste didn't live up to its appearance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

another 1.50 single at Total Wine - really glad I got just the one. An ok malt character...lightly nutty with some caramel and toffee, but definitely a one trick pony with a muddled palate.

12 oz bottle as Alien Amber Ale. (Little A’le’inn) Rachel, NV.
Clear amber colour with a big foamy light tan head. Sweet malt, caramel and mild herbs in the aroma. The flavour is sweet malt, caramel and mild hoppy bitterness. Boring.

Bottle, Deep copper color, light head dissipates instantly. smells like strong grape, malty. Taste lots of red grape as well, not sure if its this bottle or...? None of the other r eviews I’ve seen noted any grape so... Tastes like a malty wine more than anything. Not too impressed.

Las Vegas, NV - Total Wine - Summerlin - 12 oz bottle. Medium copper pour, tight off-white head, very light lacing, Aroma has some fruity cherry notes, a hint of toffee sweetness. Flavor is pleasant with some light caramel sweetness, a touch of nuttiness, some toffee notes in the back end. Pleasantly thick mouthfeel. Decent.

Clear amber pour. Smell of roasted malts and what I think is chocolate or coffee but that’s me I guess. The same goes for taste. Too bad the mouthfeel is Bud Light thin. Somewhat low to medium carbo. I actually enjoyed this beer.

Poured from bottle from the cellar (54F). Pours with very little head and rapidly dissipates to a ring of foam. The brewer’s description is dead on - there is very little to no hop aroma. Aromas of hay and malt. Taste is malty with essentially no bitterness; caramel and malt. I do like the malty flavor, but it isn’t particularly complex. Would be good with food.

Bottle. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a small white head on it. Nose is rather light and slightly toasty. Taste is unremarkable and slightly malty, with just a bit of sweetness. Save for the label, entirely forgettable.
