Not as good as it looks. Had a great head and dark color out of the bottle but its taste didn't live up to its appearance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This isn’t that good. Some sweet caramel, but quite more sugar really. Doesn’t work.

On tap at an OKC. Pours a clear deep amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has musty grain and a wet wood note with a hint of earth grains. Flavor has notes of wet wood and earthy grains with just a hint of musty hop.

Great malty beer with little to no hop bitterness. Easy to drink - flavorful but not over the top. Went great with a fancy grilled cheese. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is one of several beers I picked up in Taos, NM on one of my days off there. Light amber, nicely carbonated, mild bread and grass. Some caramel, but the most memorable aspect of this beer was watching it spill all over my neighbors in the movie theater. They were chatting anyway...

Not bad, not great, better than Miller, Bud, Coors, etc. but only just. I bought it because of the cool label. That was the best thing about it. I’d drink it again but wouldn’t go looking for it.

Bottle shared by drabmuh. Thanks Matt! The beer appears orange, with 1/2" of head that leaves some random traces of lacing on the glass. The aroma is earthy, and piney, and malty. The flavor is balanced, with a bready, earthy taste being more present than the hop character. The feel is fairly light bodied with a buttery consistency on the palate. Overall, a decent brew. Nothing terribly exciting, but I’d have it again. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 07-11-2011

Bottle label was cool. Other then that, not much going on. Some caramel malt, bread and grainyness. Simple. LOL someone gave it a perfect "5" Guess they never drank a Lost Abbey, Three Floyds, Alsmith, Rochefort before.

Clear amber pour with a very thin head. Aroma almost non-existent, slightly caramel once I found it. Balanced sweetness and bitterness; slightly nutty/roasted flavor. No finish to speak of. I won’t be buying this again, but I will finish my six-pack.
