Not bad at all really. Better then I thought it would be. Bought this on a whim while on a trip to Santa Fe. A bit sweet, with caramel and light fruit flavors such as watered down apple juice. Nothing jaw dropping, but not the worst amber I’ve had either.

Oct 5, 2008 Pours amber with a thin white head. Smells of caramel and earthy. Tastes earthy and sweet with a slight peppery finish.

Jun 28, 2008 The maltiest amber I’ve ever had. Almost no hops at all, tons of sweet, woody caramel malts, nothing else really. An OK beer, but pretty unremarkable.

does not count  May 12, 2008 Unique for the style. Very malty. It seems to be brewed with a heavy dose of munich compared to any other amber I have had. Interesting touch that certainly separates this amber from the pack. Not bad.

Jan 12, 2008 Good amber color. Little head. Decent sweet aroma, but the drink was disappointing. Overly carbonated, weak taste with nothing really to recommend it. While there’s nothing that’ll make you gag, you can find any number of superior beers in this genre.
