COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
2014 Beer Camp Across America Release.

We named this beer in honor of Myron Avery, a founder of the Appalachian Trail, or the A.T., which starts near Sierra Nevadaís North Carolina brewery and ends near Allagashís home in Maine. Both breweries have a tremendous love of the outdoors, and Avery and the A.T. are great reminders of the wild spirit of exploration that connects us both.

Myronís Walk is a Belgian-style pale ale combining the best of our two breweries. It features intense citrusy flavor and a complex aroma from the use of fruity and resinous whole-cone Citra and Mosaic hops offset by the complex spicy character of Allagashís house Belgian yeast strain.

Bottle from the 12 pack Beer Camp from Total Wine. Home in a snifter. Pours a clear gold with a small white head. Aroma is Belgian Yeasts, cereal, oats, hay, citrus and slight coriander. The taste is similar with the Belgian yeasts, hoppy citrus and pine, slight bitterness on the finish. Cereal and hay flavors as well. Light body, moderate carbonation. Good beer.

Pours a golden hue with slight. Suspended solids give the beer a glow. White head of tight white bubbles. Very good retention and lacing. Aromas are yeasty with bread and fruit. Taste is initially bitter. Malt fights back only to eventually succumb to the hops. Very hoppy for a Belgian Pale, but not unpleasant. The piney and floral flavor of the bittering makes this beer more of a sipper than a drinker. Refreshing nonetheless.

Pale gold pour, sizeable head. Aroma and taste are similar - yeast, pepper, coriander. citrus and pine really start to come through after a few drinks. Fizzy carbonation.

Bottle. Dry Belgian yeast aroma. Some biscuit. Murky yellow body with lots of streaming visible carbonation. Mostly eroding white head. This brew starts initially as a basic Belgian pale ale, but after 2nd or 3rd sip the finish develops with the considerable hop character. Really excellent.

The aroma is yeasty, slight vegetable, fruit. The appearance is hazy yellow, white head. The flavor is green tea, yeast, vegetable, spicy, fruity. The finish is yeasty, spicy, hoppy. Medium in body, a tad light. Not bad a bit strange, and light bodied. Ok.

Poured a hazy golden amber with about a 1 inch lightly creamy off-white head. There was a good amount of carb bubbles rising up in the glass. The aroma was nice with pine resin, a little citrus aroma of tangerine or apricot and some sweetness smashed bananas. The beer had a strong pine flavor initially with some citrus later on. The beerís texture was nicely full bodied and there was a good refreshing feel. On the finish there was a mild bitterness along the lines of citrus rind.

I appreciate what they're trying to do here, though not quite there. Has a peppery and slightly sweet flavor with slight resiny bitterness.
