COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
2014 Beer Camp Across America Release.

We named this beer in honor of Myron Avery, a founder of the Appalachian Trail, or the A.T., which starts near Sierra Nevada’s North Carolina brewery and ends near Allagash’s home in Maine. Both breweries have a tremendous love of the outdoors, and Avery and the A.T. are great reminders of the wild spirit of exploration that connects us both.

Myron’s Walk is a Belgian-style pale ale combining the best of our two breweries. It features intense citrusy flavor and a complex aroma from the use of fruity and resinous whole-cone Citra and Mosaic hops offset by the complex spicy character of Allagash’s house Belgian yeast strain.

Poured into Trappist glass a hazy gold with lumpy white head that this fairly fast. Plenty of lace. Aroma is yeast followed by light hints of banana, floral and spice. Taste is yeast, banana with some spice but an earthiness stands out. Body is med and silky. Finish is bitter with a growing sense of it later. Very well done, has to be one of my favs from the 12.

Slightly hazy golden with a fairly thick white head. Aroma is coriander forward with a tiny bit of yeast. Nice, light flavor. Strong coriander with a light finish. Quite nice. Wife: 3.9

Poured from bottle to glass. Golden hue with creamy white head that settled. Aroma is belgian esters, peppercorn, straw, tangerine. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium body and crisp carbonation. Taste is dry sweetness followed by a spicy bitterness. Overall this is an odd brew.

This is pretty good; however, I really wanted to like it more. The aroma is sort of ester and yeasty. Taste is lemony and with some yeast spice and hop character shinning through. Finish is clean and dry. Hop burp is really nice. Overall, just good.

Bottle to pint glass. Pour is hazy golden. Aroma is Belgian yeast and spice, fruit and coriander. The taste is super interesting. It starts like a Belgian, transforms into a pine heavy ipa, and finishes like a Belgian again. Decent overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a light hazy yellow with a creamy white head. Aroms is pungent hops and spice. Taste is mellow at the start and grapefruit bitter in the finish with a faint taste of corn. Mouthfeel is smooth and then dry at the finish. The Belgian component doesn't come through in the taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Une bouteille partagée. Une robe jaune dorée avec mousse blanche. Un nez d’agrumes et de fleurs blanches. Une bouche en tout simplicité, facile, amère tout en ayant de fines épices.

(Bottle) A very light, thin beer, but this is extremely refreshing. Nice Belgian yeast flavors. I like it, although definitely not my preferred style of beer.
