COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
2014 Beer Camp Across America Release.

We named this beer in honor of Myron Avery, a founder of the Appalachian Trail, or the A.T., which starts near Sierra Nevadaís North Carolina brewery and ends near Allagashís home in Maine. Both breweries have a tremendous love of the outdoors, and Avery and the A.T. are great reminders of the wild spirit of exploration that connects us both.

Myronís Walk is a Belgian-style pale ale combining the best of our two breweries. It features intense citrusy flavor and a complex aroma from the use of fruity and resinous whole-cone Citra and Mosaic hops offset by the complex spicy character of Allagashís house Belgian yeast strain.

Poured into Trappist glass a hazy gold with lumpy white head that this fairly fast. Plenty of lace. Aroma is yeast followed by light hints of banana, floral and spice. Taste is yeast, banana with some spice but an earthiness stands out. Body is med and silky. Finish is bitter with a growing sense of it later. Very well done, has to be one of my favs from the 12.

Tap at stags head as I stopped for quick beer after work. Pours lovely yellow orange with fine head. Nose is big tropical fruit and yeast. Tastes of pear, mangos, honey, floral, yeast, some peppery notes on finish. Fine lively palate. Nice brew

This was a joint tasting with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Poured a hazy gold with a medium sized white head with great retention. Good lacing. Nose is citrus and coriander. Medium plus body and resinous mouthfeel. Flavor is a blast of fruit with apricot, tangerine, mango, and pineapple. Finish is spicy and the fruit lingers. Very tasty.

Poured from bottle into tulip. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a creamy 2 finger head. Head dissipates down to about 1/2 finger. Aroma - lemon, spicy yeast, and a touch of earthiness and resin underneath. Taste - lots more resin on the taste than in the aroma. Mosaic hops are definitely easy to pick out as well, but a lot of the citrus on the nose is gone. The finish is pretty long and is dominated by the resin. The spicy notes from the yeast arenít forward here, but still detectable.

Bottle in Seattle. Soft gold, small head. Yeasty herbs, pale ale with wit spices. Some crispness. Tasty surprise.

January 13, 2014. Bottle at home, bottled may 3, 2014.
Light hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is sweet grain, ripe apricots, citrus, coriander, white pepper. Taste is light sweet fruity, citrus and spicy notes, finish is crisp, perfume and citrus. Light bodied, average carbonation.

Citrus peel and tropical fruit along with some light Belgian spice in the aroma. Cloudy orange color with suspended sediment; thin, bubbly white crown. The flavor has toasted wheat malt, soft fleshy fruits up front, soapy corriander in the middle and a hefty sharp citrus (grapefruit) peel/pithe bitterness midway and through the finish. This softens up a bit from time to time, but this beer definitely has a hop punch to it although itís not over the top and everything is mostly balanced. Medium-light body with a slick texture. Overall, this is a good offering, but Iím just not a big fan of coriander in beer anymore...

Orange/Gold with a soapy white head. Aroma is yeast, with dried fruit, mild hoppiness, some pine. Taste is a nice firm hoppiness, with pine, mild maltiness to provide balance, finished with yeasty character. Excellent beer.

355ml bottle from Saveur-Biere

PKGD 06/03/14 - Pours golden orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of ripe fruits, funky yeast, citrusy hops, spices, caramel and faint hints of tropical notes. Taste is smooth, juicy fruity and funky yeasty with some hoppiness, citrus, spices, grass and tropical notes. Finish is smooth, hoppy and funky yeasty with some bitterness and juicy fruitiness. Quite nice and refreshing hoppy blonde.
