Bottle @ SF 5. Brown with thin head. Smells like dark raisin bread. Very sweet and bready. Not cloying, though.

2012 vintage. Dark and toasty in the taste, aroma fairly faint. Black body with small beige head. Taste makes up for aroma in a big way, plenty of burn at the back. Some dried pit fruit, some oak, some chocolate. Extremely enjoyable.

bottle - Pours dark brown with a small, lingering tan head. It has a rich toffee and caramel smell and taste. Itís sweet and full bodied. Itís kind of different and may be a little sweet for some, but I enjoyed it.

Rating from 8-28-2010.....Bottle....Pours very dark brown...medium brown carbonated head....thick rich body....dark slightly bitter malt--sweet up front on the first sip....aroma some brown sugar/dark malts (roasted)....a little cocoa throughout aroma and palate---I get the essence of oak. But Iím sure its the birch (never had birch in this way, only in soda).....the maple is present but subtle---thanks Wayne....It got better and better the more that I sipped
