3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Beer Camp Mixed Pack. Pours a clear yellow with orange highlights and a white head. Nose is sweet light malts, mild dust, some sugar, some lemon, and mild grapefruit. Flavor starts sweet and estery, goes to lemon and sweet malt, then slight dust and pepper, then finishes with grapefruit hops. Light in body and a nice ale overall.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a straw yellow. Really light color. On first taste banana, coriander, and some pepper and lemon. Maybe one of the better ones in the box.

2.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a thin head on a clear light straw colored body.
The aroma is bright fruit, grain, pine and lemon. Great.
The taste is interesting. Lemon bitterness, a weird blend with the sweet and soap. Not great.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
The taste is not good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from the mix pack purchased at Tipples. Pours hazy but almost clear, light yellow, with a bright white head on top the recedes quickly. Aroma of banana esters, dried grass, barnyard funk, sharp dryness, sweet pears and apples. Very nice. Flavor is funky dry grassiness, some lightly sweet fruit, lingering grassy hop character on the palate. Dry, light bodied, and high carbonation. Not bad, pretty crisp, and easy drinking.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle from a Beer Camp pack purchased at Dutch’s. Pours a clear, bright gold on the paler end of the spectrum with a small white head that settles into an uneven film and leaves a little lace on one side of the glass. Aroma of lemon zest, grass, pale and sweet malts, florals, and coriander. Flavor of bitter florals, lemon and orange peel, pale and sweet malts, grass, straw, banana, and dry grains. Light-bodied, with a dry, zesty mouthfeel and moderate carbonation.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle to glass. Strong white head clear straw yellow body. Big lemon yeasty ester aroma. Smells sweet. Lots of yeast notes on this one. A bit to sweet for my tastes. Mouth feel and carbonation are good. This beer just has to much lemon and yeast esters for me. Not one of my favorites from beer camp 2014. This beer tastes like one of those sugar covered candied lemons from a gas station candy isle.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
How comes every beercamp in this variety pack is rated so high? This uses the same baSIC yeast smell as east end, so what? Looks like pale lager. Taste is a little more pilsner tho, sharper pilsner. Then there is this belgian ale, WTF? This yeast takes over the personality of the brew, wew. East end may be better at brewing this beer than BC, heheh. From this, I’m s’posed to judge RR? NO WAY.

No matter what the taste, any collaboration between russian river and sierra demands your respect. As does any Beer Camp beer. But this one has the benefit of tasting great. Blend of Russian River’s belgian chops and Sierra’s hop bite, it’s awesome!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cloudy golden pour w/ a thin white head & little lacing. The aroma is a nice array of Belgian spices - banana & clove. The taste is pretty complex as a Belgian should be. It’s quite spicy throughout w/ just a bit of a harsh finish. It’s decent but a little underwhelming!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at Collective on Tap, Woodinville, WA
Hazy blond color with creamy head. The aroma is delicately spicy. Lean and dry mouthfeel, smooth, with some crackery malt flavor, light spicy feeling, and light fruity touch. Correct bitterness.
Brewed with grace, balanced.
