argo0 (6176), Washington DC, USA Nov 8, 2005 Crystal clear amber body with off-white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, spruce, some caramel, berry, light melon. Taste is medium sweet, spruce, caramel, light melon. Soft medium body, easy to drink. Good stuff, but I prefer the Harvest. Rastacouere (5270), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 28, 2007 Clear straight amber. Straightforward crystal malts aroma over which thrive earthy hops on top of the lightly flowery and heavily citrusy ones. As usual, the assembling is competent. In 1995, this would have been excellent, but you need to go a bit beyond to gather the high scores nowadays. Crisp palate with a sweetish toastiness. CaptainCougar (4637), Rockville, Maryland, USA Apr 15, 2007 On tap at O’Briens on 11/30/06: Pours a transparent dark copper amber with a spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of toasty crisp pale grainy malt and some mild, but fresh, piny hops. Body starts with a slightly sweet and floral strawberry flavor toward an earthy finish. A pretty average APA. jcwattsrugger (3942), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jan 19, 2008 @San Diego Brewing [CA]-on tap-pours a ? head and gold color. Aroma is mild citrus-lemon hops (cascade). Taste is mild citrus-lemon hops (cascade), medium malt-some sweet caramel. More APA to me. [OK, listed as APA on RB, don’t remember what they said at the brewpub]
