drowland (1360), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Nov 8, 2009 Bomber. Pours dark amber like apple juice with a tight 2-finger head. The aroma is all earthy hops with a hint of caramel. It doesn’t so much smell like hops as hop bitterness. The flavor is hop bitterness with a hint of citrusy sour. If you search you can find light bread and biscuit. tomthompson89 (1459), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 8, 2009 bottle amber copper color some sedimit nice beige head, nose is hoppy but not over powering, dry tast with some nice malt and bitter hops. nice beer zebracakes (1214), Washington DC, USA Nov 8, 2009 Bottle, pours hazy amber caramel, off white head. Aroma is hoppy floral, kiwi, candy. Flavor is very floral hoppy, crisp, and dry. Very hoppy bitter, I like this! markas101 (541), Fargo, North Dakota, USA Nov 7, 2009 50 cl bottle, Fargo, ND, USA. Deep copper colour, frothy long lasting head. Citrus aroma with some pine resin. Mellow first sip, low carbonation, sweet and caramel with some trailing warming spice. EithCubes (2140), Indiana, USA Nov 7, 2009 Expensive ($9.99 bomber) bottle. Beautiful amber body with a perfect, lacing, creamy beige head. Perfect Cascades nose, big citrus and light pine from dominant PNW hops. Super fresh. Big caramel, dominant perfume-floral hops. Medium-full body. Delicious. Wait, no, going to downgrade this a bit, hard enough to finish 8 ounces. DeadGirl (192), West Palm Beach, Florida, USA Nov 4, 2009 Pours a rich copper from the 24oz. bottle: More on the citrusy and thin side compared to other IPAs, with pine needle aromas. Long grapefruit bitterness in the finish. Light caramel and earthy overall, but an absence presence of resin takes away from a full-bodied experience that I was slightly expecting, or more so wanting. Medium bodied. Drinkability: Pleasant and light. Easily likeable. Rebuy: Yes. #184 on 04112009, DG. MoDog (909), Griffith, Indiana, USA Nov 3, 2009 100th California Rating: 24oz bottle served in a shaker. Dark copper pour with a two-finger thick head of solid, beige foam. Good retention and lace. Resiny, green, piney aroma followed by some citrus notes and underlying caramel. The flavor was mainly fresh pine with some lighter citrus and caramel. Nice, clean bitterness. Medium-bodied and lightly carbonated. A decent harvest ale, but I’d gladly take a Celebration or Torpedo over this. BrewDad (2363), Olympia, Washington, USA Nov 3, 2009 24oz Bomber – Gravity Beer Market – Olympia, WA
