Flavor is hoppy, bitter. Not a lot of citrus notes, but some pine. Overall a decent IPA. markas101 (552), Fargo, North Dakota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 3, 2009 33 cl bottle, Fargo, ND, USA. Slightly hazy amber colour, head is tinged wtih some hazelnut type colour. Impressive hop aroma, warming. Bright first sip, smooth, with a warming mellowness. Full hoppiness is well balanced, with a nice bitter bite on the finish. Very nice. DaSilky1 (1965), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 3, 2009 This reminds me of anchor liberty. The slickly citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon end on a high dry note and the aftertaste just as a soothing bitter cascade essence. The nose was cascadey and sharp..there was a touch more malt character here compared to liberty ale, but I dig it...just not as much. vacantskies (81), Spokane, Washington, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 1, 2009 On tap as usual, very nice hop aroma, pours a very nice light copper color with a white head. Starts with a nice finger width head, slowly dissipates, leaving very nice lacing the whole way through. Hoppy, bitter yet very well balanced, what else can you ask for!!! I had this last year in bottles and love it more on tap. This is definitely a very fine IPA and very easy drinking. I would grab some before it’s gone, this is a seasonal brew. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 1, 2009 Poured from a 12oz bottle. The beer poured a translucent orange/amber with a thin white head. Nose is very strongly citrus and hoppy. However, it’s not overpowering, there is a subtlety to the aroma that leaves you desiring more.
Flavor profile is similar, definitely heavy on the citrusy american hops.Fairly bitter but not face meltingly so. Has a very smooth mouthfeel with a clean finish leaving only a hint of bitterness on the back of the palate. Overall a well balanced and flavorful beer. Plamadude30k (122), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 1, 2009 A nicely hoppy beer, but not too overstated. A sessionable, understated IPA.
