Commercial Description:
The 2007 Anniversary Ale features prominent usage of Cascade hops– the signature hop used in Sierra Nevada’s most popular product, Pale Ale. It is an American Style IPA with a big, fragrant pine and citrus hop aroma balanced by the sweetness of two-row pale and caramel malt. It finishes with an additional Cascade dry-hopping creating a big hop aroma Sierra Nevada fans will look forward to.

Light amber, piney, hoppy, floral, spicey, little malty, little citrus, little alcohol.

Pours dark copper, thick, creamy head. Strong lacing down the glass. Nose of piney hops. Taste is very piney, citric, hoppy, spicy, tingles the tongue. Smooth, long lasting spice finish. Good carbonation, relatively easy to drink. Excellent, excellent beer, highly recommended. I will be buying again.

12 oz bottle. Piney, resin hops aroma and a persistant foamy head. Anise notes in the muddled, slightly sour hops flavor. Some sweetness in there, too. Fair amount of malt for an IPA. It’s a good beer, but I’ve never been a big Sierra Nevada fan and for better or for worse, this beers taste says "Sierra Nevada’" all over it.

12oz bottle, pours orange/copper-ish. Off-white head, pretty amazing lacing- lasts forever. Head goes away fairly quickly. Aroma and taste are hops and grapefruit. I instatly categorized this beer as "Dogfish Head 50 Minute IPA" pretty good brew, but not up to the standard of Bigfoot barley-wine or regular SN pale ale

The aroma is hops, citrus-orange, and a little pine. The head is a frothy off-white, excellent lacing and a small mostly lasting head. The color is a copper/orange and was crystal clear until the last pour and is cloudy now. The initial flavor is a nice bitter with a little citrus-lemon/orange and finishes with a the hop taste in your mouth. The body is medium, creamy and the carbonation soft.

Bottle 355ml , 2008 edition
Appearance: clear amber in appearance, with large bright stiff top. Good lace was created.
Nose: Soft yet full and rich flowery hop aroma. Clean and fresh.7+
Flavor/Palate : Medium full bodied. Starts softly with more bitter follow up. Straight, clean show up. Solid presentation. Quality shown in details. Like that smooth corners, subtle alcohol burn, bold yet in check hops.
