Commercial Description:
The 2007 Anniversary Ale features prominent usage of Cascade hops– the signature hop used in Sierra Nevada’s most popular product, Pale Ale. It is an American Style IPA with a big, fragrant pine and citrus hop aroma balanced by the sweetness of two-row pale and caramel malt. It finishes with an additional Cascade dry-hopping creating a big hop aroma Sierra Nevada fans will look forward to.

Nice malty flavor. It’s an IPA but it’s got a great balance. Citrus and lots of hops on the palate. Not quite sure how this one looks in the glass -;-; had it in a bottle purchased from a deli on a corner.

A nice off white head. Nice copperbrown colour. Hints of citrus in the taste. Typical IPA hoppiness. Tasted at Pikkulintu.

moderate in body, typical amber color in body with a nice hint of hops to the aroma, smooth taste to it, goes down well with no biting after taste and has a great citrus taste to it

Aroma is more piney than citrus/floral. Flavor is piney, bitter citrus bite. Caramel malts come through a bit. Light bodied. It doesnt speak summer to me, that would be Two Hearted. This beer speaks more of fall. This is a good IPA indeed. Sierra Nevada did well.

Another tasty brew from SN. Smooth and dry with a lovely bitter finish. Amber with a thick head. Sampled at an A’s game in Oakland.

Bottle. Moderate malt aromas of roasted and caramel, moderate herbs and pine for the hops, light note of soap for the yeast, and faint notes of toffee and pepper. Head is small, fizzy, white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is slightly hazy, yet sparkling orange/tan. Flavor starts moderately acidic and lightly bitter, then finishes moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is on the light side of medium, watery, with a lively carbonation. It finishes lightly drying. A good IPA with a decent aroma, but a slightly out of balance flavor.

12oz pours coppery orange with a modest off white head. Nice hoppy aroma. Flavor is much like their standard pale ale. Nice and easy to drink.

Well hopped and pretty well balanced beer. Sweet and caramel flavors along with a hint of citrusy grapefruit. Bitter finish. Not too piney.
