Sierra Nevada Anniversary Ale

(from notes) Clear amber color, mild half inch head. Sharp citrus and smooth woody notes in the nose. Lemon zest citric notes up front, balances more towards the back of the palate. Severly drinkable, perfect on the mouthfeel.

Bottle, pours amber with a large off-white head. Strong nose of citrus and hops. Medium sweet flavour with pleasant malt, hop and again citrus and grape. Medium bodied. Bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Clear amber with huge long lasting off white head. Hoppy aroma with caramel, grass and grapefruit notes. Sweet and hoppy flavor with caramel and grapefruit. Finishes dry with solid bitterness.

2007 Bottle. Amber, quite thick off-white head. Caramel malty nose, hops, some grapefruit and tobacco. Straightforward caramel malty flavor, fresh dull hops. Strongly bitter and seedy finish. Medium bodied and smooth palate. Somewhat lacking.

(2007, bottle at St Urho’s on 2008-05-08) Amber colour. White medium head. Clear hop aroma and some malts in nose. A bit fizzy and dryish palate. Quite amount of hops in taste and some malts. Slightly sweet.

2006 bottle. Amber color, lacy head. Distinct cascade hop aroma, notes of pine. Taste is big on hops, with some nice caramel flavor. Pretty refreshing .

2006 version. Courtesy of After4ever/thank you Tom. The aroma has notes of citrussy hops, mostly grapefruit and light caramel. The flavour is aromatic and fruity with notes of papaya, oranges, tangerine, caramel and the finish has a pleasant, slightly dry bitterness. The body is quite full and it’s a charming beer.

Orange colored with cloudy appearance. Medium sized yellow head. Lemony and caramelly aroma with still flowery hops dominating. Medium bodied. Flavor is more hopped and not so balanced with too much bitterness, surprisingly high carbonation. Aftertaste turns to softer with fine flowers and sugary caramel. Well, decent IPA, still I find those hops somehow attacking.
