Commercial Description:
The 2007 Anniversary Ale features prominent usage of Cascade hops– the signature hop used in Sierra Nevada’s most popular product, Pale Ale. It is an American Style IPA with a big, fragrant pine and citrus hop aroma balanced by the sweetness of two-row pale and caramel malt. It finishes with an additional Cascade dry-hopping creating a big hop aroma Sierra Nevada fans will look forward to.

Pours a clear amber with an off-white head and lacings. Smells nice and hoppy. Flavor starts with a strong hop taste combining citrus/floral/grapefruit. Has a lighter malt finish.

Bottle. Thin, cream-colored head with good lacing. Dark amber pour. Floral aromas lead to banana, apricot, and pine. Tastes of sweet apricot and grapefruit up front and finishes with orange zest.

bottle - Pours light copper with a thin white head. It has a very good hop aroma with citrus and pine notes. The flavor is of course quite hoppy, but is rather well balanced too. The citrus comes through nicely. Carbonation is light. The body struck me as a little thin. Crisp hops lingers pleasantly in the finish.

Clear orange amber with a beautifully firm and lasting head. Aroma is sweet citrus with a bit of doughy malt. Grapefruit bitterness up front with a bit of pine. Fades slowly into a smooth malt and pine ending. Nice medium body with light carbonation.

Bottle, big thanks to Ian (Harrisoni) for this, cheers mate. Pours orangey amber colour with large white head that also looked as though it had highlights of orange. The aroma was a bit soft fruity with apricot or peach noticaeable. Some citrus on first taste but it was soon sweetened and the citrus was more orangey citrus. There was some lingering bitterness and maybe a bit of cape gooseberry, in fact the bitterness whilst not overpowering remained throughout although it was more than kept in check by the sweetness.

Light hazy golden colour with a small white head. Malty, grainy, sweet aroma with notes of pine and some hoppy fruityness. Hoppy, piney bitter flavor, notes of fruit and sweet malts. Hoppy, bitter and quite dry finish. Good one, seems very fresh.
