It has a very good hop aroma with citrus and pine notes. The flavor is of course quite hoppy, but is rather well balanced too. The citrus comes through nicely. Carbonation is light. Aroma is sweet citrus with a bit of doughy malt. Grapefruit bitterness up front with a bit of pine. Fades slowly into a smooth malt and pine ending. Nice medium body with light carbonation. Pours orangey amber colour with large white head that also looked as though it had highlights of orange. The aroma was a bit soft fruity with apricot or peach noticaeable. Some citrus on first taste but it was soon sweetened and the citrus was more orangey citrus. There was some lingering bitterness and maybe a bit of cape gooseberry, in fact the bitterness whilst not overpowering remained throughout although it was more than kept in check by the sweetness. ante (2904), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 22, 2008 Bottled. Hazy dark golden with a low lasting white foam. Sharp hoppy aroma of grapefruit and lemon-rind with bready undertones. Clean hoppy flavour of grapefruit and grass with touches of salt, bread and mild flowers. Hoppy finish of orange-peels and grapefruit. Hoppy, piney bitter flavor, notes of fruit and sweet malts. Hoppy, bitter and quite dry finish. Good one, seems very fresh.
