Commercial Description:
The 2007 Anniversary Ale features prominent usage of Cascade hops– the signature hop used in Sierra Nevada’s most popular product, Pale Ale. It is an American Style IPA with a big, fragrant pine and citrus hop aroma balanced by the sweetness of two-row pale and caramel malt. It finishes with an additional Cascade dry-hopping creating a big hop aroma Sierra Nevada fans will look forward to.

Pours a hazy light golden color with a substantial white head composed of large bubbles. The aroma is quite pleasant and includes hops, pine and citrus. The flavor is has some lights hops but is otherwise unremarkable. There are hints of citrus, but the flavor lacks the complexity and kick of my favorite IPAs.

Bottle 2009 version: Copper golden with a light tan dense head that retains well and laces nicely. Citrusy spicy cascade with a slightly subtle nutty malt (crystal) note. Creamy/fluffy body with mild carbonation. The flavor has evident Spicy & citrusy cascade character with a soft nutty sweetness that provides a silky body. Has a long resiny finish. A balanced and solid IPA.

Bottle. Pours a large, off-white, jiggly, pitted, creamy head. Clear, brilliant copper body. Big citrus hop nose - grapefruit and lemon with a dash of orange. Definite pine presence. More citrus in the flavor - big time grapefruit with a bit of mango and peach. Soft caramel backbone with some notes of bready biscuit. Medium bodied, average carbonation, moderately bitter for the style, slight, pleasing resin and lingering citrus. Yum. Super drinkable.

Wow. Nice. Aroma is a bit sour and very citrus. Bitter hops, and biscuity malt. Taste is very citrus, slightly sour, some sweet cracker, and a bit of bitterness. Finish is slightly biter, but mostly just a citrus, biscuit lingering aftertaste. Very solid.

Pours a light golden with a thick white head. Big stinky hop aroma, just classic american hops. Nice smooth malt body, tons of big bitter hops. A hop lovers dream.
