Commercial Description:
The 2007 Anniversary Ale features prominent usage of Cascade hops– the signature hop used in Sierra Nevada’s most popular product, Pale Ale. It is an American Style IPA with a big, fragrant pine and citrus hop aroma balanced by the sweetness of two-row pale and caramel malt. It finishes with an additional Cascade dry-hopping creating a big hop aroma Sierra Nevada fans will look forward to.

A really caustic, dry bitterness, this is not very balanced. The color is nice, tho, and the aroma good too. Just wish it was more of a clever taste, not so brash.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy amber color, nice pearly head. Aroma is a crisp hops, very light. Flavor is hoppy, bitter. Not a lot of citrus notes, but some pine. Overall a decent IPA.

33 cl bottle, Fargo, ND, USA. Slightly hazy amber colour, head is tinged wtih some hazelnut type colour. Impressive hop aroma, warming. Bright first sip, smooth, with a warming mellowness. Full hoppiness is well balanced, with a nice bitter bite on the finish. Very nice.

This reminds me of anchor liberty. The slickly citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon end on a high dry note and the aftertaste just as a soothing bitter cascade essence. The nose was cascadey and sharp..there was a touch more malt character here compared to liberty ale, but I dig it...just not as much.

On tap as usual, very nice hop aroma, pours a very nice light copper color with a white head. Starts with a nice finger width head, slowly dissipates, leaving very nice lacing the whole way through. Hoppy, bitter yet very well balanced, what else can you ask for!!! I had this last year in bottles and love it more on tap. This is definitely a very fine IPA and very easy drinking. I would grab some before it’s gone, this is a seasonal brew.

Poured from a 12oz bottle. The beer poured a translucent orange/amber with a thin white head. Nose is very strongly citrus and hoppy. However, it’s not overpowering, there is a subtlety to the aroma that leaves you desiring more. Flavor profile is similar, definitely heavy on the citrusy american hops.Fairly bitter but not face meltingly so. Has a very smooth mouthfeel with a clean finish leaving only a hint of bitterness on the back of the palate. Overall a well balanced and flavorful beer.

A nicely hoppy beer, but not too overstated. A sessionable, understated IPA.
