COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is a true West Coast-style Double IPA made with huge amounts of hops - both in the kettle for flavor and later in the torpedo to impart a massive hop aroma. The light malt body and dry finish hide the power in this immensely drinkable hop-bomb.

Very subdued, subtle hop flavor for a double ipa. Ends with a crisp, short finish that makes this beer drinkable and delicious.

Bitter orange 2 finger tight creamy head. Columbus, Simcoe boom out of the glass with a bitter orange and pine needle. Intense bitterness but I’m not too surprised. lacks balance but certainly more balance than Hop Hunter. The malt has an old grainy taste to it. No spice at all just sweet & bitter.

Hoppy and malt aroma come from this clear pale Amber brew with a small head. Sweet and hoppy medium bodied brew and a slight bitterness and warming from the alcohol in the after taste.

Draft sample at the source. The beer is a clear yellow with a white head of foam. Juicy citrusy aroma and a bit of fresh pine boughs. Medium body. Mild bitterness and some sweetness. Medium carbonation.

Theydon_Bois (16626) - Tourist Town (West), Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 7, 2016
Keg at the Torpedo Room, Berkeley, 29/01/16. Clear golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is pine, dank hop notes, grapefruit, orange pith, toasted malt. Taste comprises red grapefruit, floral notes, citric zest, pine needle. Medium + body ... bit of chew, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Decent enough DIPA but no stand out.

Pale golden with a thin but clingy foam. Tropical fruit and citrus aroma. More of the apricot and mango flavor mingled with orange and grapefruit. Dry finish.
