Sample on tap. Clear red orange color. Minimal off white head. Lightly tart, oaky red grape tannins from the wine barrel come through nicely. Light carbonation, medium body, more dry texture. Plums in the flavor, some grape. Hint of chocolate. Light bitter, some sweet. No alcohol. Nice complex ale.

Dark mahogany. Light lacing from small off-white head. Aroma of wood, cherry, vanilla, and caramel. Taste is moderately sweet and bitter and a little winey; nicely balanced and very easy drinking for the style. Medium bodied, dry, and smooth. It’s got a lot in common with a kriek or sour, only it’s not sour. Quite good.

Draught. Pours a hazy brown color with a moderate off-white head. The wine really comes through in the taste, making it very smooth and easy to drink. There is a slight bit of sweetness to it, but it’s muted with the aging. I like this one...

This poured a darker reddish color with a beige head. Aroma was of wood, red wine, dark fruits and yeast. Flavor was much the same but stronger, nice light wild/funk tartness from the barrel on this one. Nice.
