Pale straw, white head, super mild aroma, some fresh wheat maybe, flavor lacks tartness and saltiness, hardly a gose, basically a blonde ale with a whisper of tartness.

joeneugs (3333) - Livermore, California, USA - SEP 12, 2012
On draft at Tap 25. It pours a very pale yellow color with a large, lasting white head. The aroma is lemon, wheat and a bit of salt water. The flavor is the same. Nice, balanced flavors of citrus and bread with just a touch of salt. Very refreshing on a hot summer day in Livermore, CA. Sierra Nevada gets another style right.

Pour on tap at Avery Sourfest 2012, clear yellow pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of coriander, lemon, some biscuit, bread notes, touch of earthy and yeasty notes, hint of ever so slight salt with a grassy and herbal overtone. Taste is similar, with a little salt presence going into a coriander, lemon middle, some bread and biscuit as well with a hint of yeast, finishing fairly bitter and grassy.

@ Avery Sourfest. Hazy light gold with a thin bubbly head. Cereal aroma with a touch of oak and vanilla and some dry fruit rind. Flavor wasn’t very sour, just a touch. Cereal flavors with a touch of earthy vanilla and a touch of sugar. Not terribly sweet, mostly grainy.
