COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Beer Camp 107.

Conjured by the co-founders of the beer review website BeerAdvocate.com, this stout’s dense mocha head precedes a full-bodied brew with a rich, creamy mouthfeel and a hint of campfire smoke. Roastiness permeates the liquid, and hops added to the mash tun—unconventionally early in the brewing process—contribute to a lingering bitter finish.

On tap at the Torpedo Room. It pours a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma has chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is strongly bitter with dark bakers chocolate, a little smoke and earthy bitter hops. Roasted malt in the finish. Very solid on the palate. Nice one.

On tap at Hops and Pie for 50 cents poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lasting tan head. Aromas of roasted malt and cocoa. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, cocoa and light earthiness with a smooth lingering cocoa finish. A fairly average boring stout but worth 50 cents.
