COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This unique take on the traditional IPA style pairs the bold and intense aromas of whole-cone hop "flowers" with aromatic natural rose hips and petals for complex aromas and unexpected flavors.

The aroma is floral but also citrusy and piny. The malts are caramel like. The appearance is copper gold with a foamy head. The taste is like the aroma with a bitter finish. The plate is smooth but not thick. Overall Sierra pretty much creates IPAís that set the standard.

Pours a hazy amber with layer of white head. The name is a perfect description. Very bitter, very floral, and slightly herbal. I didnít actually like it personally. But it was good for what it was.

Bottle. Poured clear dark amber color with an average to large frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex floral hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This a very good brew.

Not as floral as the title led me to expect, but not a bad IPA. Especially for an amateur recipe.

Wow... you can smell this beer from a mile away. Its intense hop nose permeates its airspace instantly. It has a mostly clear, dark orange color, an off-white head, and quite a lot of small sediment (hop particles, perhaps?) in suspension. That aroma is what really makes this beer. Itís very earthy, musky, and green as a swamp. The flavor is extremely bitter. Itís thin in the mouth, heavily hopped, and so bitter and green that it tastes like youíre sucking on a rusty piece of rebar. As potent as the aroma is, Iím not surprised that the flavor is so hoppy. Unfortunately, itís actually slightly uncomfortable. Once you get it out of your mouth, though, itís not so bad in the finish. I think the whole rose hips and petals might have been a little too much.
