3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Thanks to TheBeerGod. Dark copper/bronze pour. The head is very airy ... and quits quickly. The aroma is woody and piney. This drinks with a down-home, but well-made character ... same adjectives ... born of the forest. Aromatic and full-bodied. Well done. (#4733, 8/14/2012)

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Big floral hop aroma, with what smells like citra/simcoe as well. Pours a cloudy orange, with just a dusting of white head. Strong floral hop flavor, with the rose existing as a hint. This is far from a balanced IPA, going far on the side of bitterness. This is an interesting beer, and one that you should try if you like bitter beers.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Really nothing special. The nose is herbal, the flavor is as well. It is a pleasant beer but one is enough.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz into a 14oz sierra nevada tulip. Aroma is apparently floral, with exchanges of the rose, hopfully strong whole cones. and mild grass and pine. Theres alot going on in the aroma sense, almost perfume for a beer. I enjoy the complexity. Taste is hoppy, piney, bittering, and then sweet in the aftertaste. Color is a dark orange, bronzed tan, and metallic brown. That sweetess is stil lingering in after 1/2 thre brew, with mainly a citurs flow, apples and grapefruit, some pineapple in there too, and then the bitterness jacks you in the tongue. Different and nice.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
It has good flavor and decent balance. The floral hop character dominates though there is a fainter malt presence. This is solid and worth trying. It’s different from some of the other SN IPA’s.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Windy City. Some slightly pungent hops in the nose. There is another scent that I can’t place. Quite carbonated. Dry, sharp hop character. Quick finish. Decent IPA. dough,

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Definitely tasting the floral aspect from this one, another solid IPA from SN, what they do best, light and crisp and loaded with floral hops, slightly bitter, and slight citrus flavor as well. Comes as advertised, solid offering from the 2012 mix pack, starts out well for me.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
8/8/12. 12oz bottle from Grassroots. It would be a clear light amber/orange pour, but under the light there’s definitely particulates floating about. Floral and earthy aroma with plenty of hop bitterness as well as citrus. Bitter hop flavor, slightly sweet, with biscuits and caramel, and it lingers floral and dry. Not bad.
