This unique take on the traditional IPA style pairs the bold and intense aromas of whole-cone hop "flowers" with aromatic natural rose hips and petals for complex aromas and unexpected flavors.

Copper amber pour with some resin and floral hop aroma. Taste is resiny and malty with some earthiness. Pretty good.

I feel like this beer was made to smell good more than taste good. The hop aroma is ridiculously awesome, but the palate and flavors don't match quite as well. Aroma hops arent always the best for taste. ---Rated via iPhone

Bottle. Thanks to TheBeerGod. Dark copper/bronze pour. The head is very airy ... and quits quickly. The aroma is woody and piney. This drinks with a down-home, but well-made character ... same adjectives ... born of the forest. Aromatic and full-bodied. Well done. (#4733, 8/14/2012)

Big floral hop aroma, with what smells like citra/simcoe as well. Pours a cloudy orange, with just a dusting of white head. Strong floral hop flavor, with the rose existing as a hint. This is far from a balanced IPA, going far on the side of bitterness. This is an interesting beer, and one that you should try if you like bitter beers.

Really nothing special. The nose is herbal, the flavor is as well. It is a pleasant beer but one is enough.

12oz into a 14oz sierra nevada tulip. Aroma is apparently floral, with exchanges of the rose, hopfully strong whole cones. and mild grass and pine. Theres alot going on in the aroma sense, almost perfume for a beer. I enjoy the complexity. Taste is hoppy, piney, bittering, and then sweet in the aftertaste. Color is a dark orange, bronzed tan, and metallic brown. That sweetess is stil lingering in after 1/2 thre brew, with mainly a citurs flow, apples and grapefruit, some pineapple in there too, and then the bitterness jacks you in the tongue. Different and nice.

It has good flavor and decent balance. The floral hop character dominates though there is a fainter malt presence. This is solid and worth trying. Itís different from some of the other SN IPAís.

Bottle from Windy City. Some slightly pungent hops in the nose. There is another scent that I canít place. Quite carbonated. Dry, sharp hop character. Quick finish. Decent IPA. dough,

Nice hop aroma. Golden orange appearance. Taste is hops throughout with a floral note (not just a cute name!). Very nice flavor.

Resinous hop aroma. Floral for sure. Orange rind, pepper, grapefruit and back end pine. Red gold. White ring. Initial sweetness that become fruity bitter. AveragE iPa with an above average aroma.
